Just a simple question I want to ask.
What was the last country we sent our boys to defend, or supplied with war materials, that did not eventually stab us in the back? To be honest, I cannot think of any nation we defended that has not come back and stabbed us. They either become adversaries against us, or their citizens grow up to hate us.
I ask, because I see so many clamoring for us to get involved in the Ukraine/Russian war. Me? I say let them decimate each other.
We gain nothing helping either side. It is time we spend our resourses and efforts on defending our own borders.
Inquiring minds want to know.

Liar leftards mantra was when Trump’s gone the USA will be well respected in the world again. NOT... many nations and world leaders may not have liked Trump but they damn sure respected him and his leadership abilities. Not so much the old, corrupt and weak Biden.
Yet, the allies we help rescue then interfered in helping Stalin and they begged us for help. Once we did with rebuilding Europe, the Soviet Union saw it as them against us and the Cold War started.

Your seemingly innocuous question contains a poison pill - i.e., a false premise.
Without Western intervention (military and humanitarian aid), the Ukrainians and the Russians would namely not "decimate" each other.
Rather, Russia would simply conquer Ukraine, which would then be partitioned, dismembered, depopulated, Russified, and eventually converted into a puppet regime with a tin-pot dictator like Lukoschenko, wholly subservient to Moscow, heading it - comparable to the way Belarus is now merely an appendage of Putin's resurgent "Greater Russia."
Like in Belarus, Putin would then move in his nukes and his troops - in preparation for attacking his next target.
Your proposal - to let Ukraine and Putin's Russia simply "duke it out" - is as ludicrous as suggesting that Dick Cavett should go 10 rounds with Cassius Clay (in his prime) and in this way "settle their differences."

Well, it is not up to us who controls Ukraine.
It is their fight regardless who comes out on top.
It was the rest of Europe who wanted this, and got the Democrats on board.
This is a question that really will not lead to a resolution, since we do have half the politicians in this country who care more about what the rest of the world wants.
My answer still stands, what country has not backstabbed us.
I can accept South Korea, and may Vietnam, but only because they defeated the side we fought for.
Well even then American Democrats defeated us not the Viet Congress.
So stopping the Axis powers was about mere “desire”? Not like they declared war on us or anything, is it? or that they represented the worst aspects of leftism aka idolatry?
Bad enough we had leftists ruling us during WWII that knew the only way to keep power was to go to war in response to having war declared on us rather than surrender as they wanted to do. But after the war ended, they created the United Nations with a charter based on Stalin’s USSR constitution and the fix was in (or so they hoped) . . .
