Britt, despite this week’s criticism, is considered a “rising star” in the Republican Party. She was the youngest woman elected into the upper chamber after getting sworn in last year.
The first-term senator is also thought to be in contention to be picked as former President Trump’s vice presidential pick. Trump praised her rebuttal, stating she distinguished herself and presented compassion for “women’s issues.”

The Hill is doing this on purpose to cause trouble. Shame that people fall for it.
I think Trump will be very careful with the VP pick this time. He knows he will need a true MAGA person next go round. She is a kid and not ready for a VP job yet.
It was a Bobby Jindall moment for sure.
I guess the kissed up part, but what does kicked down refer to?
Kicked down is when you treat subordinates or lower level employees like trash.
I couldn’t take 10 seconds of her .
Listening to all these “possible” VP picks it seems like Trump has hundreds of VP potentials on his short list. Hate to see the long one.
I couldn’t stand her demeanor for her rebuttal. She went from what looked like almost busting out laughing and over smiling to on the verge of breaking down in tears, like going from one extreme to the other. Definitely not ready for prime time, probably not ready to even be in her position right now.
Also....bad idea to film her in the kitchen.
Expected the Betterware Brush man to show up.
Does he even have that much pull still as he is stepping down?
The way the “media” Dung Beetle turd rollers went after her she should run for President. The fags, thieves and liars in the fart-left “media” all went after her like buzzards going after a skunk roadkill sandwich.
Candace Owens maybe?
Apparently he disappointed the Alabama crowd and lost the Alabama primary election.
“Does he even have that much pull still as he is stepping down?”
I don’t know to be honest—it is inside baseball for sure.
Something is up with Matt.
Certainly not the time to cut and leave.
Picking her would solidify his ability to pick leadership and setting an agenda is compromised and weak. The potential for a even worse lame duck scenario would be on full display. His VP is the most important pick in decades; that person would be the inheritor of ‘maga’ for good or bad going forward.
Yes, couldn’t stand the sound of her voice! VP? No freaking way.
She has a Hillary problem. Nobody is going to want to listen to her speaking for 4 years.
‘Rising star’ should NEVER be applied to ANY politician...
I am taking the long view on this.
I think the MAGA base is solid for a generation—a true grassroots organization.
If post-Trump leaders refuse to get it right they will be removed from leadership.
I like when people keep saying she was talking to suburban moms. I guess they’re kind of saying if you’re talking to suburban women, you have to dumb things down and put a lot of emotion in it. Quite a stunning admission if you think about it.
