Look, I've been posting here a very long time. 100% of my military history is well known to long time Freepers.
I have no reason whatsoever to address the gaps in your knowledge ~ you, on the other hand, should be polite to the rest of us and stay on topic and cut out the insults.

I can't imagine they'll send the Nimitz to Yoko. That would just be rubbing their noses in it, which would be wrong at all, but especially wrong after they've been such fine allies the past 55 years.
Various articles on this pending deployment have indicated that the Japanese put two big conditions on the forward-deployed CVN. First, no work on the reactors at Yokosuka. Second, reactors have to be shut down when the ship is tied up or at anchor.
Given this, I'd guess that the Navy will want to put a CVN with fresh cores in Japan. In 2008 GHWB (CVN-77) will be entering service and Vinson (CVN-70) will be fresh out of RCOH. Both will have new cores. Additionally, I'd guess that the Navy would want to modify the forward-deployed CVN with additional diesel generators for power-generation when the reactor isn't hot. Best time to do this would be during building (GHWB), or RCOH (Vinson).
GHWB is going to be a "transitional", modified-Nimitz design to the next-generation supercarrier. LOTS of neat new technologies on board. I can't see the Navy forward-deploying her from the get-go. They'll want her back at a one of the major US yards after her initial deployments, so they can do a thorough analysis of how all the new tech is shaking out in real-world scenarions.
My bet is on the Yokosuka-deployed deck being Vinson.

Huh? It's the same as calling a brother "the N word". Ya know, that word that is so offensive that it drives a brother to homicidal rage. So offensive that white liberals cover their ears and run away screaming.
Another point. You seem to overlook the fact that the japanese culture of that time was as violently racist as any that has existed. Only japanese were considered fully human. Some seem to make no distiction between the willful slaughter of millions of human beings by bullet or blade and the "incidental" and unwanted killing of thousands to save millions.

Buddy of mine was a B-52 pilot. He developed a problem in his shoulder and thought it might be related to his service. Turns out there were a gazillion switches to flip overhead in the versions in use in the late 60s. Reaching up and flipping the switches damaged the friction points in his shoulderblades.
This is/was a common problem related to a B-52 configuration at a certain point in time. However, there are supposedly many others.
If you look in Time/Life Book's coverage of WWII, you may find an overhead shot taken at Ground Zero in Hiroshima. In it you'll see an Asian-American guy in US uniform standing right there in the remains of that steel and concrete building that partly survived the blast.
He was an intelligence officer at the time, doing translating for MacArthur, et al. This was his family's old hometown.
He later on died of leukemia. At that time folks had little understanding of what radiation did to the human body.

Ever hear of a Davey Crockett Rocket?
Yup. Only special weapon that was under the direct control of a non-commissioned officer, iirc. Great idea too (/s) ... max range was inside the blast radius. SOP was to dig a very large hole, fire the weapon and then hope you could dive in the hole fast enough not to get incinerated when the warhead detonated.

So? Japanese culture continues to be racist, and then there's their problem with body hair.
Are you trying to give us an education about the Japanese or what?
This thread is about nuke victims demonstrating against nuke-anything.

And now for our feature presentation!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Star of our Show-the One, the Only....
Miss ENOLA GAY!
This is a post-Hiroshima picture of the Enola Gay. Notice that the "Circle R" tail marking from the Hiroshima mission has been removed and the 509th Composite Group's "Circle Strike Arrow" has been painted back onto the tail.
Enola Gay was the most advanced bomber of its time, and of the Silverplate Bombers of the 509th, it was considered to be the best of the 15 Silverplate Models (so designated because they were modified to carry atomic weapons). It's only possible rival was Chuck Sweeney's The Great Artiste (actually piloted by Charles D. Albury), seen here on the Tinian hardstand in 1945.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Did you?
Remember, many of the people in China today who demand the Japanese make sure and cover that part of their history would be more than happy to destroy you and your family without a second thought.
Someone else's "niceness", "victimhood", or "evil" does not justify another's "niceness", "victimhood", or "evil".
These situations should be taken one at a time and on their own merits.

Could have fooled me!
The thread is about actual victims of a nuclear weapon at a protest. None of them was responsible for initiating WWII.
