U.S. President-Elect Barack Obama characterized the massacre of unarmed civilians by Islamic terrorists in Mumbai India as “definitely not nice” and “not something I’d like to see repeated during my administration.”
"We cannot tolerate a world where innocents are being killed by extremists," Obama said of the Mumbai attacks that killed more than 170 people, including six Americans.
Obama expressed the hope that the “ritual cleansing achieved by the election of the first non-white American as U.S. president would provide a modicum of protection to U.S. citizens wherever they may travel, but I fear that the lack of unanimity of the election and the last eight years of guilt accumulated during the Bush Administration may be too much to overcome.”

So if you "cannot tolerate" it then what are you going to do? Talking and negotiation only work when both parties are willing to talk and negotiate. For terrorists, negotiation is a stalling tactic, not something leading to compromise.
Now, if you were a terrorist, and you heard about these remarks, what would be your next thoughts?
