DOJ Decision a Puzzler
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 9 April 2011 | John Semmens

Posted on 04/11/2011 12:14:36 PM PDT by John Semmens

The US Department of Justice’s approval of a Georgia law requiring voters to prove citizenship before they are allowed to cast a ballot has shocked some observers.

“Those who see a contradiction between upholding a requirement for voters to prove citizenship while neglecting to do the same for a candidate are mistaken,” Attorney General Eric Holder contended. “Ensuring that a person who votes is, in fact, entitled to vote is the job of government election officials. On the other hand, whether a candidate is entitled to hold the office for which he is running is the job of voters. Voters by their action in electing a person are saying that, as far as they are concerned, that person is entitled to hold the office. That is how democracy works—the people choose their own rulers. It is not up to my office, the courts, or any other body to interfere in this process.”

Did Holder just give 'voters' legal standing to challenge candidates to produce documentation proving citizenship?

Is Holder throwing Zero under the bus??????

Holder is confident rather, that voters will not determine that Obama is ineligible.

its satire people

I knew it was satire as soon as it said something about Holder agreeing to a law designed to prevent election fraud. That is simply impossible, so it must be a joke.

Thanks for the ping, LucyT.

Between the double take and the jokes in the beginning of the article, I’ve been laughing uncontrollably!

The double take:

I thought a Conservative said:

“In every other instance in which previously uncounted or miscounted votes have been brought to light it has been to the benefit of the progressive candidate,” claimed Christine Lamitina, spokeswoman for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) of Wisconsin. “Is this election in Wisconsin going to be the exception that contradicts a well-established history?” Lamitina appealed for President Obama to “step in and right the wrong that’s been done to the working people of this state.”

It turned out to be a Communist who believes we’re already in a Communist dictatorship:

SEIU Vice President for Politics and Growth, Bruce Colburn vowed “unrelenting efforts to restore victory for Joanne Kloppenburg. We spent millions of dollars and millions of man-hours to get her elected. We won’t take ‘no’ for an answer. We will takeover the streets. We will clog the courts with lawsuits. We will shut this state down if that’s what it takes to get justice for our cause.”

The perceived communist dictatorship indeed equals:

ELECTIONS HAVE NO CONSEQUENCES WHEN CONSERVATIVES WIN!

Dingy Commie followed this by belching the following:

“I’m not saying that it rises to the level of unconstitutional,” Reid said. “But it’s pretty darn close. A woman’s right to terminate her pregnancy falls clearly within the ‘pursuit of happiness’ clause”

This is akin to that rapists should be left alone to rape women and boys in “their (rapists) pursuit of HAPPINESS!”

You know what? It looks like We the People will have to act soon! If the SEIU thugs dare to act on their threat, it will start a terrible reaction...they spent millions against people’s wishes and the thugs are threatening to collect their millions worth, by hook or by crook, and not taking no for an answer!

WAKE UP AMERICA!

I also fell for the satire! LOL!

Soon, the undeclared will be acted upon by both sides anyway.
