Suspected tagger found dead, hanging 9 stories up on office tower

A man whose body was found hanging from a downtown Sacramento building Monday, nine stories up, appears to be a tagger who was attempting the vandalize the property, authorities say.

The man had used rope to tie himself in a seated position like a rappeller, authorities said. The rope was tied off with a window washing anchor, and fire officials believe that that anchor could have held his weight. But they don't think he was a window washer.

"Battalion Chief Marc Bentovoja told the Bee the Fire Department had no reason to believe the man's death was a suicide.

'It looks like accidental more than anything else,' Bentovoja said." I say ... ¡Adios muchacho! (It must have been Divine Intervention.)

There's a picture out there of an incident that happened in Georgia where a cop was chasing a suspected drug dealer.During the chase the perp tried to jump some kind of gap,didn't make it and wound up being *completely* decapitated by a fence upon which he landed.The picture showed the head on the top of the wrought iron fence.I checked the story in case the picture was a fake and it checked out.

Yes ... I think somebody had e-mailed them to me.

I remember those pictures ... probably about 7 or 8 yers ago, or more. There were several pictures that showed the perp’s escape route, then the drop, and then his head impaled on a spike of a wrought iron fence. The drug dealer was black, and I think he had a rather bored expression on his face.

Local news is reporting he may not be a tagger. He is a 30 year old who just got out of the navy on a disability. His parents said he just moved to Sacramento from Vancouver.

How many 30 year olds are taggers? This story is really odd.
