Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right? Well, in this case, this homemade pistol is quite blasphemy to many Glock enthusiasts. Witness for yourself the homemade Glock that is nothing short of dismal.
These photos were shared on an all-Russian forum. Somewhere in Russia, one basement tinkerer is very proud of his creation.
From a distance it resembles a beat up that just got runned over Glock pistol. Note it lacks the Glock Safety Trigger.
See the rest of this DIY glock here.
What's that?
I’m guessing the Glock detractors will say this is as good or perhaps better (of a club?) than a Glock (R).
I personally liked my Glock 19 before the boat accident.
It’s the “trigger on the trigger” you notice when looking close at a Clock trigger. Prevents firing unless a proper center press occurs; addresses issues of something catching the side/corners of the trigger and pulling, or an impact causing other internal parts to move.
It is the hinged trigger that will not allow the gun to fire without being depressed with full finger contact
I loved my 26 gen 3 before my own personal boating accident I miss the gun more than that home made raft I was on. It is a good imitation of a gen 1 glock. Like a Russian makarov put on a glock costume
“Note it lacks the Glock Safety Trigger.

That’s the device that keeps accidentally getting pulled and yielding Glock legs, feet, hands, nuts etc.
The article misses the point. Yes this pistol is crude. It is homemade, with hand tools, from the look of it.
And now the maker has a pistol that he didn’t have before. Plus the experience which would allow him to make another, probably better gun. A gun which the authorities would not know that he had, in a part of the world where one might fear the authorities as much as the outlaws.
The only question is, will it shoot?
Could someone tell me what a Glock is?

At least once.
The VC made copies of the 1911 out of C-rat cans and landing mats.
While I never saw one of the "copied" ones personally, I did see a "recovered" 1911 that had been adapted to a .38 cartridge.
The magazine was, literally, made of discarded C-rat cans.
The last I knew of it, it was residing in a SF museum somewhere.
But the whole point of the copies and re-manufacturing is to use it to take a real, working weapon from the opposition.
Something we tried to teach the French Resistance in WWII with the manufacture of the two-shot Liberator.
Cool, the Gen 6 Glocks are out already! Biggest changes: Hammer fired, and metal sights.
“Something we tried to teach the French Resistance in WWII with the manufacture of the two-shot Liberator.”
The Liberator was a single-shot pistol, but “extra ammunition could be stored in the pistol grip.”

Yeah, I knew that...brain fart or something.
Happens to us old dudes ever now and then.
I meant to say it was good for two shots...yeah, that's what I meant.
Thanks.
