If “mad dog” was half the warrior he is reputed, he’d have had the judge in irons and half the Pentagon in Leavenworth. How many warriors must be sacrificed on the altar of Political Correctness before the madness ceases?

Retiring this spring after 32 years enlisted and officer.
After my tolerance for PC bovine excrement reached critical mass, (highlighted by the requirement to attend transgender assimilation briefings......AT SOCOM), my response was “Stop the Army. I’d like to get off”.
Even in the hardest corners, it’s not my Army anymore.

And Trump does not lift a finger to even slap down Lap Dog Mattis when he countermands Trump’s cross dresser order. This is my biggest complaint with Trump, he talked a strong military but has not done a damned thing to return war fighting ability to the ranks. Old hat. Happened already during Desert Storm or therabouts. A bunch of girls were tasked with setting up the tents...and they couldn’t do it. The men had to knock off what they were doing to set up the tents.
I just want to puke everytime that I hear about crap like like this. Thank the Lord that I was able to retire before these abhorrent practices became the norm.

Army Chief of Staff, General John A. Wickham Jr., (CoS from 1983 to 1987) was responsible for the ending of the Army officer, NCO and enlisted club system. His idea of ‘improving’ the Army was to eliminate booze and cigarettes/cigars from it. Thus he began reducing the funding of the club system and turning them into “family recreational centers” which that Army already had.

Yes sir—we have to go back in time and begin once more. I’m an old Navy man who’s aware of what’s going on in today’s armed forces. Only the Marines that I’ve met seem to hold onto the old demands and traditions.
I’m afraid I wouldn’t join any service this day and age. Pity, because we need our armed forces very badly. But we need them officered and manned much better than they are now.
Furthermore, I stress MANNED, because having queers and feminists taking over the military culture is going to trash our country and its culture.
