Jordan Peterson is influencing many, many young people, along with Ben Shapiro, Lauren Southern, and many others.

My 17-year-old daughter, soon to be off to a mini-Ivy, is totally hooked on him.

I read it. Thanks for the post. I am touched by the story to the point of tears. And heartened that so many Americans are seeking out brilliant and thoughtful people like Dr. Jordan Peterson.

It’s amazing what a Rock Star a guy is for simply preaching the practice of independent thinking.
I think it points to an incredible vaccuum for the healing of evil in the world.

I also listen to Dr. Peterson quite often. He’s been given a mission, and I hope he reaches many young people who have been left with emptiness.

Thanks for posting this. I know there's been some back-and-forth in the media about whether Peterson is a Christian. It seems at one time he said "Yes," and then, "... but no, not in the sense most people would assume," and later(I'm paraphrasing), "I'm not sure God exists, but sometimes I'm afraid He does."

Honest ambivalence.

However, I think with the would-be suicide, Peterson was cooperating with the Holy Spirit.

It brought to mind Jesus' Parable of the Two Sons (Matthew 21:28-32) A man told his two sons to work in the vineyard. One of them said "No, I think not" and later he changed his mind and went anyway and did the work. The second one said, "Yes, sir" but didn't go.

Jesus ends up saying, "Which one did what the Father wanted?" and of course it was the first son. Then Jesus links that to entering the Kingdom of Heaven.

Whether he knows it or not, I think Peterson's acting under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
