We’ve seen this before in 1968 during the Democrat National Convention in Chicago.
In 1968 a Democrat was CAUGHT on television yelling the anti-Jewish slur; “F$%k you, you Jew son of a bitch."
Does anyone think it impossible to HEAR a Democrat LOOK into a camera and yell, “F$%k you, you conservative son of a bitch," at Judge Brett Kavanaugh?
Their antics didn’t end well for the Democrats then; and they won’t end well for them today.
The Chicago riots in and around the 1968 Democrat National Convention shocked America.
The Democrats’ ugly displays were made worse for them because they took place with a backdrop of genuine unrest in America.
Americans were torn and upset about having to fight a third war in 37 years.
There was not the general prosperity we have today.
In 1968, Democrats held the White House the Senate and the House of Representatives.
But Democrat depravity was there for all to see.
Just as what will happen this week, there were riots and ugly displays of third world politics on America’s television screens day after day.
The Democrats’ ugly anti-Americanism inside the convention center in Chicago in 1968 was only surpassed by the repulsiveness of what was happening outside the area.
There were pitched, almost warlike, battles between rioters who poured into Chicago and the city’s police and Illinois National Guardsmen.
How ugly did it get inside?
How anti-American, yet quintessentially Democrat was it inside the convention arena?
While Jewish Connecticut Senator Abraham Ribicoff, nominated George McGovern, an anti-war candidate and open socialist, Richard Daley, the Mayor of Chicago, was caught on camera yelling the words, "F$%k you, you Jew son of a bitch," which was clearly evident to lip readers when it appeared on television screens across the nation.
Nevertheless, the election of 1968 should have been a comfortable win for the Democrats who nominated the popular Hubert Humphrey.
The Democrat President at the time was Lyndon B. Johnson who had a 55% approval rating and total control of the government.
By 47/26 registered Democrats far out numbed registered Republicans.
Yet, Hubert Humphrey lost in an Electoral College Vote landslide.
In the lead up to the election of 1968 the polls conducted by Gallup told the story of how events in Chicago turned a portion of Democrats away from their party.
Here are the numbers.
Note: There was a strong third party candidate so the Republican to Democrat numbers don’t add up to 100%.
In July Richard Nixon the Republican had a 49/38 lead over Democrat Humphrey.
In August it was Nixon by 45/29.
In September it was Nixon 44/29.
By October it was Nixon 44/36.
It ended with Nixon winning the popular vote 43/42 and the third party taking 14%.
Since the largest amount of votes gathered by third party candidate George Wallace of Alabama came from the then solidly Democrat South, that 14% came right out of the Humphrey column.
Very clearly Republican Richard Nixon won with many Democrat votes.
Were those Democrats turned away in revolution at their party’s conduct in Chicago?
The numbers suggest that was the case.
The numbers say enough Democrats were angered at what they saw in August to change the results in November.
The ugly display by Democrats during the Kavanaugh hearings might just see a Democrat, not hiding his contempt, but yelling into a camera, “F$%k you, you conservative son of a bitch."
This will not end well for Democrats.
They have no principles and no sense of right or wrong, so they can only regret it if they fail.
Vote Judge Kavanaugh in now. Do an investigation after confirmation (which will show none of this happened because EVERY name Ramirez and Ford gave claims Kavanaugh did Not do this) Kavanaugh should sue every Ford, Ramirez, and Every paper that published this without credible witnesses. Sue them out of existence....drain the media swamp. Judge Kavanaugh will be a rich man, but money will never make up for what he and his family have suffered. Especially his innocent girls. Praying for them all.

Dems need to be exposed for the scum that they are.
Great write up, and I really agree that the Democrats right now are desperately trying to ruin themselves.
It “appears” that the GOP is acting weak, but in all likelihood internal polling shows that this issue of Kavanaugh is a huge loser for the Democrats. So, let them have enough rope!
It’s a painful process to watch, but the mid term elections will be a blood bath for the psychotic evil left that has for 2 yrs thrown the worlds biggest hissy fit.
The Democrats are hoping for a re-run of Roy Moore: (a) because they have nothing with which to block the nomination, and (b) because they know that the Republicans are idiots who are all afraid to call a woman what she is - a blatant, partisan liar. They know they have traction with the despicable Jeff Flake, and they smell the weakness in Grassley and McConnell. The moment that the Republicans delayed the confirmation vote, the Dems smelled blood and doubled-down.
They won’t regret a thing. They’re raising serious money and these skanks will be heroes regardless of the outcome.
Regret is for people with a conscience.

Doubt it! The RATS have been getting away with this crap for decades, always assisted by the left wing media. Recall Kennedy's letter to the Russkies, Chappaquiddick, Bork, Thomas, etc. Trump is the only chance we have, unfortunately the spineless gutless pubbies are too scared to help him.

They are losing voters every minute of the day they keep this bs up.
You give the Republican leadership too much credit. I doubt that the Republican party had any internal polling before this week, and would not be surprised if they still do not have any on this issue. As a political matter they have tree ways to lose this issue; Force the vote and dismiss the allegations without a hearing, thus looking callous; Hold the hearings and appear to be bullies on national TV; Let the Dems continue this circus and make them look hapless.
People need to remember that the Republican majority rests on the Votes of a group of 5-7 members who are not conservative despite being Republicans (even if many of us have doubts about a few).
The hatred of America by the Leftist Democrat Party is fully revealed. What is truly frightening is that far too many Americans -- ungrateful for what our Republic has provided to them and their families and woefully ignorant of world history -- is cheering on the enemies of our wonderful Republic.
Can the ‘so called’ witnesses to the ‘so called’ assaults sue the 2 women for defaming them in connection with all of this?

I respectfully disagree, on the grounds that the Democrats have no basis of truth… you can only regret when you feel you’ve done something wrong… Democrats never believe they’ve done something wrong..... Ergo no regret!
When, hopefully their tactics backfire there intended purpose and Republicans benefit… Democrats will not view it as a failure… they WILL view it as a lack of effort on their part to paint the proper picture that must denigrate Republicans.
