i would have left also. that’s a shame it happened to you.
We just wanted it over.
I sold my business and moved.
I feel for the poor child as well as for you.
Dreadful. So sorry that happened to you.
Women lie far more often and far more convincingly then men. The idea that women should be believed merely because they accused someone of sexual abuse, with ZERO evidence, ZERO collaboration, NO location, address or time or date, is one of the most absurd things I ever heard.
And drag your name through the mud again. You made the right decision.
I got terminated two years ago for questioning the unethical behavior of a former employer because I thought they would really like to know. They stole $10K in earned vacation because they invented a phony excuse to fire me in order to cover up. They spent over half of it in defending a free EEOC charge which I filed against them.
I had the bad luck of getting a worthless EEOC investigator who didn't want to do any investigating. While I had a case, I also had a better higher paying job and didn't want to spend the money and emotional energy on pursuing a p*$$@nt crooked organization who could spend $100 to my $1 with less impact on them.
As in your case, I understood that we have a screwed up court system and being wronged was no guarantee of a favorable outcome.
“I feel for the poor child as well as for you.”
Yeah, I don’t care.
People were getting onto Judge K for being mad.
I’m spitting nails mad now, and it’s been years.
It took my lawyer standing on my foot to keep me from coming across the table and killing the bitch.
That is one of the uses of DNA tests. It can show conclusively whether you are the Father or not.
You can’t squeeze blood out of a turnip ....
That’s so sad this happened to you.
A friend of mine told me he may have avoided trouble. He met someone at a wedding, and she seemed eager to get better acquainted. He said they were having a drink she picked a quiet corner of a small bar next door to the wedding reception. And she was touching him in some unmistakable ways and suggestions that they go somewhere quiet and private.
He got out of there. Heard later she was a friend of one of the families there, and she had three kids, and gave birth to her 4th about six months later. It appears her plan was to pin that pregnancy on my friend.

Yep, and the entire family court/child support system is rigged against men.
I recall having to go to some court-ordered bull-—t regarding payment. This foul lady clerk (for the attorney general child support division), reeking of smoke, told me she “hoped I packed my toothbrush, ‘cause if I didn’t pay up, I was going to prison.”
Mind you, I had already paid up — again for a kid that was not mine.
My first lawyer advised not to ask for DNA because the judge would look poorly on it as an attempt to avoid “responsibility”.
I fired him.
And, yes, the judge took me to task for asking for DNA.
“That is one of the uses of DNA tests. It can show conclusively whether you are the Father or not.”
Except if it shows you are not the father, you have to pay for a second one to prove it again.
0% chance of paternity, both times.
Drinking while pregnant. Classy.
I learned a long time ago to avoid women like that, for many reasons.
Believe there is a proverb about avoiding harlots or ending up raising someone else’s kids.
I had another interesting experience. I had a female soccer coats here from a nearby prominent University that if I posted the name you would all know it (our 2nd president was an alumnus). She had been married for a few years and was a bit past her prime as an athlete. She came in complaining of depression. Not too bad, no suicide or whatever, just Generalized Anxiety type. She wanted my advice, she said, but didnt want to take medication. I spent a good 45 minutes talking to her on 5 separate visits. We talked about everything I could think of in regard to non prescription treatment of depression and on each occasion she insisted she did not want to take medication. Finally on the 6th visit after talking for an hour I decided to share my testimony. The ONLY time in 35 years I did that. Turns out she was part of a group of rabid feminists who enjoy harassing Christian Professionals and shes reported me to the State Board for Evangelizing in my office. As God is my Witness. These are the ONLY two problems I had in 35 years. That one I laughed off. Being accused for HIM was an HONOR.
A similar thing happened to Charlie Chaplin.
Sorry you and your family was put thru this!
My friend is harassing innocent man, she thinks he is chasing her. He filled case against her. I know she had disillusion order problem. But she is busy destroying that man life.
2 yrs back she made over 150 calls to homes in two towns in Silicon Valley, blaming them harassing her. She filled complaint against her sister, till now I am spared.
She is a Turnip? A familiar saying got in Alabama:
You cant get blood our of a Turnip!,
Well, that’s what you get for helping your patients.
You should know better.
(Yes, bitter sarcasm. That’s my mood today.)
Tragedy. I suppose there’s three of us now, you, the good doc and me. Tore me up and destroyed me but the whole escapade was false. I won my case. Took four long years and won but I lost. When someone destroys a persons name the sh*t follows a person for good.

Judges are idiots as are half of all lawyers.
FYI, I am a lawyer
That said, my ex-wife accused me of pointing a gun to my older daughter’s head, accused me of physically abusing her, etc. during a divorce.
I tend to take women’s accusations with a LOT of skepticism.
