Associate Justices of the Supreme Court Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor said they are concerned the courts legitimacy could be undermined if it is viewed as politically divided.
What did they say?
We dont have an army, we dont have any money, the only way we get people to do what we say that they should do is because people respect us and respect our fairness, Kagan said in an NJ.com report.
Part of the courts legitimacy depends on people not seeing the court in the way that people see the rest of the governing structures of this country now. In other words, people thinking of the court as not politically divided in the same way, as not an extension of politics, but instead somehow above the fray, she also said.
The two Princeton graduates made their comments Friday during a She Roars womens conference Friday at their alma mater. They avoided saying anything about the contentious atmosphere surrounding Brett Kavanaughs confirmation to the Supreme Court.

The two skank, extremist political hack Justices should just move the the right of Roberts and become the swing votes [libtards...].
Because it is.
Duh?
Liberal judges basing every decision on their liberal feelings and emotions instead of the constitution worried they are viewed as too political. Yeah.....ok.
These 2 Gargoyles can go hang around outside on the roof
Well, if they stepped down, it would go a long way to end that division.
“Divisiveness” to the Left always mean failure to obey them.
In other words, the role of the court is to comfort leftists. Got it.
Resign then. Both of you.
A little late, skanks of Hell.
no political division with the 2 women Obama SC appointees attending a womens conference called ‘she roars’ at a communist university bastion of upper learning Princeton, now is there ??? /mucho sarc
Make stuff up, bend the rules, then wonder why no one cares about the rules.
Cue the crying libs.
Didn’t one of these witches not even have judge experience?
Shut up, betches.
Well said, and exactly right.
the court should not be, is not intended to be a political branch of government
but that ideal, so carefully crafted by our founders of our republic, went bye-bye (under FDR) and again under Clintoon/Obammytoon
it is ironic how some of the commie leftist ideologues on the court are just NOW getting “concerned” about itrs politicization.... they expressed no such concerns while they were ‘ruling the roost’ on the court for the CPUSADNC
Democrats demand democracy, but don’t want it.
News Flash: Nobody gives a shit what the Kegger and Wise Latina think.
If they are so concerned about a politically divided court, then maybe they should consider moving themselves more toward a constructionist perspective. Problem solved. Kumbayah.
I guess these people have never thought about just abiding by and upholding the constitution. It’s not exactly rocket science.
Well, on the one hand, some justices read the law and apply the law.
And on the other hand, some justices are Progressive activists who legislate from the bench.
So, yeah, there is some division. But we’re working to end that.
