Civil War: French citizens fed up with their governments elitism and out-of-touch policymaking like allowing millions of West-hating Muslims into the country have taken to the streets in recent weeks following the imposition of a massive new fuel (carbon) tax aimed at fulfilling the countrys climate change obligations via the 2015 Paris Climate Accords.
Reports on Thursday even said that Yellow Jacket leaders may be planning armed violence aimed at overthrowing President Emmanuel Macron, whose approval rating is in the basement.
Whether the coup happens or not, its pretty evident, judging by the news coming out of France in recent weeks, that a growing number of citizens are unhappy with the way things are going in their country. And theyre not going to take it anymore.
Could something like whats taking place in France happen in the United States?

“Our least prosperous people are the most likely to be obese and are the most entertained poor people ever. They are also unused to hard physical labor outdoors in all weather. Its hard to imagine any sort of sustained civil unrest under these conditions because they have never existed before in recorded history.”
You get it, but it’s near impossible to convince some here that our federal opposition consists of fat, low IQ sows squatting at their desks, eating jumbo bags of potato chips and guzzling two-liter containers of pop. These fattys don’t make a capable army.
All one needs to do is take a tour of any federal bureaucrat office to see these pitiful squishes if you don’t believe me.
You might be surprised. I've got four kids born between 1996 and 2004. They've all told me that their peers are about evenly split between left and right.
When I was their age in the early 70s, I didn't know a single peer who wasn't a liberal.
It's actually closer to a hundred to one ratio.
There are roughly 150 million civilian gun owners, who possess an estimated 400 million firearms.
The total number of federal troops under arms is roughly 1.6 million.
Buddy, I sure hope so...I doubt there is going to be an all war, but there IS going to be some bloodletting, I believe...
all war = all out war...
The police look impressive when they are bursting in on ONE house. If they have to take ten houses they have to draw on reinforcements from other cities and sometimes other states.
They simply do not have enough warm bodies to do a mass confiscation.
When you look at the numbers and then look at the territory they would have to cover and it becomes even more of a problem.
They MIGHT be able to do a mass confiscation in TWO major cities if they throw everything they have into the pot.
But who is going to be protecting them from the enraged citizens in the rest of the country when they find out what is happening? And it would get out. There is no way you could keep this kind of thing under wraps.
There’s never been an ideological conflict that brought sustained and widespread civil unrest were the poorest people were the fattest. So far where these conditions exist it seems like no one is going to risk what they already have in great enough numbers to change anything.
Freegards
That’s why I think the plan is to just let everything keep sliding down the cultural slope quietly. In a few hundred years no one will be able to imagine sustained civil unrest, much less getting off the sofa.
Freegards
That, and the fact that they're vastly outnumbered by the gun owning public, and therein lies their quandary.
In short, the American people can't be disarmed by force. That can only be accomplished through a slow and steady degradation of our second amendment rights.
Unfortunately for the totalitarian left, CWII will happen before they get anywhere close to taking our guns.
“Look at several states where gun rights are virtually non existent”
Don’t underestimate how many people are not complying with those laws” there hundreds of thousands of AR 80% Kit guns out there that Gov. has no clue about.
On the flip side, i wonder how much of the smug has fallen from Macaroni's face....I hear he has replaced it with egg.
Think asymmetrically...
Yes, let's look at that. You see a couple of show gun buy backs after the legislation is passed. People getting rid of rusty old junk. But the citizenry for the keeps their functional weapons, and the states are too afraid to go out and confiscate from the tens/hundreds of thousands who refuse to comply.
The do goober nannies passed the laws, and nobody bothered to obey. Now what?
As a general principle, Civil War II has commenced the moment word gets out that the government is going door to door to confiscate guns and send the 2A patriots to prison - or just shooting us on the spot - therefore I would recommend not staying home awaiting the battering ram, but rather assemble several of your like minded friends go to the homes of the people who ordered the gestapo to your doorstep. Make your pro-Constitutional sentiments known to them.
No point in fighting militarized cops on their terms.
Of course not but they are more than willing to make you die trying to keep them.
Fifty or sixty years ago maybe, now not so much.
It did in Finland, one hundred years ago, when the new Soviet government of Russia divested itself of its satrapies and duchys, being as good Communists aren't like those nasty Imperialists. As you might expect of Communists, the crooked fix was in, and the then-Socialist government in Finland announced that Finland would sign the treaty making it a part of the new Soviet Union, *and there was nothing the people of Finland could do about it.* Not quite.
When the Reds raised a red lantern in the window of the upper-story window of the Helsinki Trade Union Hall, the shooting and bloodletting began. Four months later, about 1% of Finland's population was dead, in comparison with the US Civil War of 1861-1865 during which it took the better part of five years to kill of 2% of our own folks.
Too, in Finland, only about 1 death in 4 was a combat casualty, the rest being wounded allowed to freeze or bleed to death, who died during interrogation or in POW facilities, or were used for bayonet practice by the new rookies who had to be introduced to the realities of their new profession and way of life.
The Finns still can't decide exactly what name it should be called. I expect we'll have a similiar problem once it begins in earnest here.
The shooting war has been going on for 16 years now. If you haven't seen any of it, it's because you haven't been watching.
Until a few dozen of them have been found hanging froim utility poles. And a couple dozen more poisoned by the office coffee in their own newsroom offices, And more go home after work to find their homes burned to the ground. Need I go on?
That’s worth Reapeting!
