Has Trump manhandled the media in any way other than criticizing it for comical, biased overreach? Are reporters fearful of being arrested for their coverage? Has Trump put any unprecedented restrictions on the flow of information?
No, no and no.
Instead, he holds daily press conferences on the current pandemic, the most recent one lasting more than two hours. Meanwhile, media outlets are either ignoring these pressers or pretending theyre a substitute for the recent Trump rallies.
Has he forced private businesses to do the governments bidding? Mostly, no. He did tap the Defense Production Act to spur GM, already switching gears to crank out as many ventilators as possible, to increase its productivity.
For the most part, Trump has repeatedly turned to, and empowered, states to help protect their citizens...Meanwhile:
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is threatening to permanently close synagogues and churches in the Big Apple that dont abide by the current lockdown rules.
Va. Governor Ralph Northam shut down his state through June 10.
Democrats attempted to stuff a critical stimulus bill with a bevy of their pet causes diversity measures and more items that have nothing to do with the current crisis.

President Trump didn’t fit into their manufactured meme so they are screaming for him to do so.
He then lectured them on Federalism which drove them deeper into their insanity. Got to love the man. He knows exactly what he’s doing in dealing with those fools.
Amen. He didn’t fall it.
Trump is fundamentally and inherently truthful. His knee-jerk reaction is honesty. This is utterly bewildering to the so-called “journalists.” The entire concept is beyond them.

As long as I can remember conservatives are called NAZIs, fascists.
Thats saying at least 40 years. Trust me, its much older than Bush.
Trump - Worst Dictator, Ever.
I would say it goes back to the 1960s at least. They may have thought it in the 1950s but it would have been a reach to say Ike was a Nazi.
It came out of the 60’s hippie/anti-war/campus riot/question authority movement. If the establishment didn’t listen to these whacko protests thne they were obviously fascists.
The episode centered on a television talk show discussing police issues.
Granted, Joe Friday didnt affiliate himself with a political party, but safe to say his stated views on a number of subjects were definitely conservative.
In this episode he was debating a counter culture figure (played by Howard Hesseman), and a college professor.
The episode is over 50 years old, and it was amazing to hear all the same leftist talking points on that program.
Joe Friday vs. Doctor Johnny Fever....BOOOGER!
Yup you guys are right. The 60s ruined everything. And I do mean that. You wouldnt believe how even the most casual unimportant things went downhill starting then!
