A couple of months ago Senator Amy Klobuchar's husband entered the hospital severely ill with the big virus. Not only did he have pneumonia with a high fever but he was also coughing up blood. However, despite that he left the hospital five days later in good health.
So what was his miracle cure? Naturally a lot of people wanted to know. Many folks even asked Klobuchar on Twitter that question but for some strange reason she did not answer. I expected someone in the Mainstream Media to at least display a bit of curiosity to bring up that question but none did...until now. I just found a radio interview with Klobuchar by Michael Smerconish on his radio show. As you can hear she answered (reluctantly) in the affirmative.
So will this admission by Klobuchar that her husband took the "forbidden" drug remove her from consideration from being named as vice-presidential nominee by Joe Biden? We shall see but this admission by her can turn out to be a YUUUUUGE embarrassment for her.
PING!
It’s ridiculous that the use or non-use of a particular drug has been turned into some sort of political shibboleth.
Another air-head politician BS artist. Another day, another insult to my intelligence.
With impunity provided graciously.
He walked out five days later? That’s about right for treatment with hydroxychloroquine.
Democrats are just fine with the unwashed dying of Covid-19; it’s a different story when their family needs it.
This was obvious 6 months ago when she refused to answer and was considered as a possible VP mate. Delightful. DjT will pound on this for months.
too damn good
I just listened and she was evasive imo. But Trump should challenge the press to ask her
They’ve known about the hallucinations with hydroxychloroquine for years. Here’s a medical report from 2014:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15235536/
But there is a more recent study by Dr. David Juurlink, Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and a senior scientist at ICES and he identifies a number of other side effect of the drug:
Cardiac arrhythmias
Hypoglycemia
Neuropsychiatric effects, such as agitation, confusion, hallucinations and paranoia
Interactions with other drugs
Metabolic variability (some people metabolize chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine poorly and a small percentage metabolize them rapidly, which affects the response to treatment)
Overdose (chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are highly toxic in overdose and can cause seizures, coma and cardiac arrest)
Drug shortages (patients with autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and other chronic diseases, who take hydroxychloroquine to treat these conditions could have problems accessing this drug)

It disturbs me the Trump is taking it. The chemical has as lot of baggage.
rwood
Bye Bye VP pick!
Believe me, her saying that she THINKS he took hydroxychloroquine means YES. They should check the hospital records but I guarantee that Kloby KNOWS he took the “forbidden” drug. He was obviously in bad shape and to save his life he was forced to take hydroxy.
I knew he took it! Didnt take a genius to figure out that someone goes from puking up blood to be cured “Within days” it was obvious that he took the drug
This one time only. In the future in order to be pinged you must ask to be on the PING List.
I had to look it up.
Shibboleth definition, a peculiarity of pronunciation, behavior, mode of dress, etc., that distinguishes a particular class or set of persons.
She said “I believe he took that drug, I’d have to check with his doctor.”
She knew. Believe me she KNEW it was hydroxychloroquine.
Given his symptoms and recovery, it seemed pretty obvious that he took it
Read the side effects of any drug and it would scare you to death. You have to have a doctor assess your ability to take a drug and if you have issues, to find another solution. But just to freak over the side effects would cause many to forgo a treatment that would be beneficial to them.
It doesnt cause hallucinations. It causes wild and vivid dreams. Or so I am told.
