Everyone descended from Adam is born with a spirit, as soul, and a body. The spirit is dead so the soul is full of deadness, until you are born again, born from above, and then it is GOD Who abides inside the come alive spirit. Not many of those alive ones in Hollyweird. Don’t sound like one of them.
likely so- that is what i believe mine was- though i did have to be revived at the time- i did have a very high fever from peritonitis- I think i was very close ot death- which coupled with the fever, made the brain synapses misfire- causing the hallucinations-
I won’t rule out an actual NDE partial crossover- but personally I don’t believe they exist- but not knowing for sure- i can’t say positively- I can only speak to the experience i had=- and give my opinion about what happened-

Not any clearer to me, sorry. Not sure what that has to do with Ol’ Scratch being in charge of running a tortures business in the bowels of the planet, but that’s not important.
As far as I know no one is given a soul, instead they “become a living soul”. i.e. it’s not a possession, like a car or a tuxedo that a person owns.
I apply that to the reality of the spirit and the soul. The soul has the spirit attached or included in the soul, and the soul is interfaced with the body. Disconnect the soul from the body and you are dead to the four variable system but probably still existing in the greater than four variable coordinate system. When you are dead, you are no longer interfacing with the four variable coordinate system.
Jesus died on that cross to bring Life to the dead spirit within the soul.
He sees all that and still walks a dark path? We all serve a master... lest you think not... rethink.... my grandmother had a saying “don’t let want be your master”..what drives us is akin to our master.
But there are 2 distinct paths in our life....the one he saw... and the other one is peace and love and eternal life. My son saw this introduction to heaven and those who were there.
It’s not good enough to say there is no such place and it’s all fiction.. by the time you find out, it will not be your choosing.. As Noah was building the Ark, they people laughed and thought he had lost his mind...but as the waters came and filled the land... and as all land disappeared. they on the outside, wanted on the Ark... it was too late..
I heard someone put it this way: your soul is the you that’s you. As for it becoming living, it already is...in a physical sense. Where it will continue to live after one leaves this earth is the issue that true Christianity deals with. The biblical explanation for this is that this eternal destination is determined by whether or not one’s soul has been “quickened”—made spiritually alive in Christ.
