Fwiw, when I was a child up in Northeast Texas, KSLA TV’s (the ONLY TV station that we could get all of the time in Camp County W/O a HUGE antenna on a TALL tower) owner found out that people were actually WATCHING the test pattern between Midnight & 0600, he started running beautiful slides of Louisiana wildlife & other scenic “slides”.

KSLA got LOTS of “fan mail” about those wildlife scenes from “viewers”, until the station finally went 24/365.
(SADLY, I must tell everyone that the KSLA test pattern was often BETTER than a LOT of the network TV programs in those long ago years.)

I was born in Rochester, NY. Moved from there in '72 or '73. I live in Rome, NY now.

I just checked another site for Oneida County, and it's showing 2,240 cases, with only 93 deaths (zero deaths since last week). That's a bit lower than the other site I checked.
