The US Senate voted 51-38 on Sunday to proceed to confirm Amy Coney Barrett on the US Supreme Court.
Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-AL) and Susan Collins (R-MN) voted with Democrats on Sunday.
The US Senate will vote to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the US Supreme Court on Monday evening.
Republicans are expected to confirm Barrett on Monday.
This will put conservative justices in the majority on the court.

I doubt Collins can do a whole six year term. She shakes like crazy . She should have retired. I’d like to see us hold the senate and get new leadership . Johnson should get rewarded with senate majority leader .
Murkowski is from Alabama, and Collins is from Minnesota.

Murk and Collins are both a couple of losers. They have been in office forever and like Biden, have accomplished nothing but further their insults to the Republican Party.
We cannot live under a system in which 3 Republicans vote against RBG while ALL Democrats vote against any Republican President’s choice.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg received 97 votes as I recall. At least she got nearly all of the votes including the R’s. Despite or because Of her well-known communistic/extremist politics.
If Collins still thinks she has a hope of keeping her seat (she doesn’t), she has to vote “no”.

You DO realize that we already BEAT Murkowski in a Republican primary, and she beat the official Republican AND Democrat nominees with write-in votes, right?
She will be Senator from Alaska as long as she wants to be.

I hope Collins realizes that she will get more votes doing her job by voting to confirm an extremely qualified nominee than she would hope to gain by caving to leftist interests. If Maine were as left as people would have you believe a Republican would not have her seat.
I think this is great! No effect on the outcome other than to confirm what Murkowski is. It is now time for Sarah Palin to step up and to retire the RINO.
