As Coronavirus cases surge, health experts and elected officials are urging against gathering with family and friends.

Let's just not ever be in the same room with another person ever again.
Let's wear a mask all the time, even when in our own home. After all, the person in the household who ventures out to pick up essentials is at risk of catching the virus, being asymptomatic with it, and passing it on to a spouse and kids. So that person should never be unmasked around their family. And no one else from the family should go outside.
Let's dictate to businesses that they should remove large turkeys from the stores so as to not encourage Thanksgiving gatherings. Make them remove costumes so as to discourage Halloween.
Let's ban sex. Anyone who turns up pregnant from the date of the ban should be jailed. (This will be a boom for abortion businesses, which naturally should be exempt from reporting abortions and will be able to give more money to politicians' campaign fundraising.)

If they cancel Thanksgiving gatherings, they will most certainly cancel Christmas celebrations and church services as well as New Years Eve parties. But will they also cancel Kwanzaa?
At my house everyone is coming over for a peaceful protest.
Protesting builds up an appetite so I will prepare a large meal for them. Can’t go burning and looting on an empty stomach.
Cases are NOT deaths. They test everybody and their brother; the lab tests detect such a miniscule amount that a sneeze just about counts as positive. Hence the HUGE spikes. The data is all screwed up and you cannot find good numbers.
Let’s just call it fear-mongering and ‘trying to bring Trump down’ and CELEBRATE the holidays. Damn the torpedoes and tar and feathers and all that.
Canadian here. Sure, there was a bit of an uptick here, especially in Ontario and Quebec, but it’s not THAT high, and it seems to be passing its peak. And there have been far fewer deaths. Hospitals in most areas are not much more busy than usual. DeWine needs to take a chill pill.

I just e-mailed my representative to see if nursing home patients were included in the head count when determining to close an area of the state. I told him they shouldn’t be. They are a confined population. Prisoners shouldn’t be counted either.
