It’s not cool in the sense that it is interesting or high-paying, but it is easy and pretty stress-free, and I sometimes think I get paid too much for what I do. I am just glad I have a job and am working from home these days because I have lost so much respect for my co-workers over the last few months. And I get to listen to whatever I want to on the radio and computer and sneak peaks at FR.

Hmm. This brings up an interesting point.

Exactly what is he going to do for Thanksgiving?

He has at least 8 kids and 20 grandkids.

I have to watch this idiot’s press conferences as part of my job.

Is Fran DeWhine still reading children's books.

Did that reporter (don't remember the guys name) from Toledo stop going when Amy left. His most memorable question wasn't a question at all. When given the opportunity to ask a question he offered up, "Amy, you really look nice in that dress."

DeWhine has to be great for people with insomnia. Just put on a sombrero, sit in a comfy chair, wait for him to start his monotone drone, and whola! instant nap.

I wish we had a Desantis for Ohio governor.

These governors have to open up these states for normal activity. The states were not even locked down when HIV-AIDS was being spread about by groups of very irresponsible people. These AIDS patients were not forced into quarantine either.

Placing the Public health in danger due to contamination of the blood supply.

These State closings are going to have to end or the People are going to end them. I for one am tired of this already and I’m no youngster.

There’s a lot to be said for easy and stress-free as we get a little older! :)

And I am sorry about the issue with your coworkers. People who may have been friends or at least friendly acquaintances once, finding out what they are really about can be tough.

It was a different world even 15 years ago. I had gotten sick. I had to leave my job in the city and the liberals who I worked with, which were 95% of the department, were incredibly generous to me. Money. Gifts. Subscriptions. We were maybe all in our forties and the up and coming groups that were full of hate didn’t arrive yet, I think.

My God we would argue in the office. I was really the only conservative.

But then when we go out afterwards and we would have such a great time at the bars and clubs in manhattan. That can no longer happen I think.

These were people I didn’t agree with but I could respect mostly.

This new breed. They are evil.

I do not know if your working from home now is a permanent gig but if you like it I hope it is.

It is permanent. The organization is saving a lot of money by giving up the lease on one of our buildings. I am one of those people with a job that they have determined can be worked from home.

It isn’t that the people I work with aren’t nice; it’s just that as the stakes have clearly gotten higher this past year in terms of what I see as the Chinese attempt to take over our country by blackmailing politicians into locking down our economy, I cannot countenance anyone who does not see that.

I’m just waiting and hoping my S.O. gets their dream job so we can finally get a home together somewhere that makes sense for their commute and that has a study so I no longer have to work in the room where I sleep.

Well I wish you the best with that and I will throw some prayers your way.

It sounds like it would be a nice setup.

In lieu of flowers please bring a side dish or dessert.

And someone should bring some wine, to toast the honoree for a life well-lived and bringing joy to those that knew him.

But it’s OK if you want to have Mass gatherings for “mostly peaceful” protests where you tear down statues and burn down churches!

I would be thankful to have 6 family members to have dinner with.

As someone with no parents, no siblings, no spouse and no children/grandchildren, I understand.

As someone who used to dream of a family like the Waltons, reality sucks sometimes.
