I listened to his testimony. If he doesn’t specify the IP addresses of the end points and is able to resolve those addresses to company names and addresses, it seems like nothing but speculation.

Certification is done by the Executive Branch of a state gov’t, whereas this hearing was in front of part of the legislature. Two different animals. Certification can be overturned by either the legislature or by the courts. I don’t know AZ law, but perhaps it requires certification by today. I did hear yesterday that no suit challenging the vote can be had until today...which suggests that no suit is ripe until there’s been a certification.

This is essentially a “get to know you” hearing - not a full evidentiary hearing in a court of law. The object here was to create serious doubt about the veracity of the reported vote; I am certain that if today produces significant interest in the legislature in POSSIBLY overturning the results (based on this and similar testimony), then more evidence will be both demanded and provided - no one with any integrity would take such an action without it.

It is all about timing - some things are appropriate now, some a bit later. As Trump’s lawyer, Jenna Ellis, said last week, this is not an episode of “Law and Order” that wraps up everything in an hour.

There are more ways to communicate than talking, and were I to hazard a guess, I would say the servers in AZ were communicating with the servers in Germany, since the Col was in the situation room. This would indicate that the servers that were not supposed to be connected to the internet were ... um ... connected to the internet.

You can observe packets by tapping into a network.

White Hat hackers observed packet traffic going to and from the Frankfurt server to Stateside Dominion computers.

I wonder if the White Hats got a tip stating this might happen in order to be in place to monitor the packets. I can tap into a network but I can not observe packets from last week unless it was recorded somewhere (maybe NSA).

A network packet is divided into three parts; the header, payload and trailer, each containing values that are characteristic of it.
Header – The header contains the source address, a destination address, protocol, and packet number.

• Source address indicates where the packet is coming from
• Destination address points to the receiving IP address
• The protocol helps identify what type of packet is being transferred, whether it is an email, a web page, a video, etc.
• The packet number – each packet has two identifying numbers; the first indicating how many packets a piece of information was split into, and the second indicates the place of the individual packet as a part of the complete information.
