Hmmmm... New York Attorney General Letitia James campaigned hard on a platform that she would indict President Donald Trump for something... ANYTHING! Therefore it is quite laughable that all the current news reports that she might take legal action against Trump FAIL to mention her over-the-top loudly proclaimed political BIAS against Trump which she boasted about frequently during her election campaign.

Obviously, she agreed with Cuomo's release of a large number of convicted felons from the State's prisons because of Covid. Never saw her claim it was a bad idea. Guaranteed, the majority of those offenders were black, because they represent the majority of inmates in the State's prison system. Back in 1980, when I took the job of C.O. with NY State, blacks represented 80% of the prison population. I can't imagine it's gone down in all this time.

IMO, it won’t matter how bogus the charges are, the investigation now is proceeding as a warning to Trump, keep running and risk getting charged.
If Trump were to announce tomorrow, he’s not running in 2024, this would all go away, if he continues to look like he would win in 2024, the more likely he will get charged.
