This missile was developed and continues to be managed by the Army at Redstone Arsenal Alabama. The same location that put men on the moon.

There has been much made of this 40 mile long Russian convoy that is approaching Kiev from the north and is said to be just a few miles outside the city. If the Ukrainians have Javelins, drones, some aircraft and know the terrain well, how is it that this massive convoy proceeds or positions itself without being attacked? Any insights or comments

638 hits out of 740 missiles (if all have been fired). Outstanding hit rate.

Anybody believes the media? We don’t believe them when it comes to covid, but we believe them when it comes to Ukraine?

The missle (not the launcher) costs about $180K each.

The article forgets to mention Trump sent these missiles while Barak sent blankets.

What am I missing here? Ukraine is corrupt as the day is long.

I'm no expert but it seems to me since their independence the country has been

controlled by an elite, ruthless few and the people are exploited.

Hec, even Biden used it as his own personal piggy bank.

Javelins are not a panacea for Ukraine. They are an infantry weapon with relatively short range though there are longer range versions possibly available. They can certainly destroy tanks but the infantry themselves are vulnerable to an enemy that controls the air and has sufficient numbers of infantry and IFVs to counteract them. The best way to kill armor is still aircraft and other armor.

Abandoned Russian modern T-72B3 obr. 2016, on the side of which we can now see "Glory to Ukraine" written.

What is this St. Javelin crap! That’s a blasphemous use of an icon of the Theotokos.

I say the old Russian SPG-9 73 mm ecoilliess gun is also taking down a lot of Russian armored vehicles, too.

The reactive packs are on the side so if the Javelin hits from the top it won’t encounter those, I would think.

They need to leave the city centers and go out and meet the convoys half-way.

Imagine the impact of just a dozen or more direct strikes on tanks/artillery.

Small groups in the field strike and flee.

As was the case for all wars during the Cold War, the purpose of US involvement is as a proving ground for US munitions as they are offered for sale to other nations.

yes, let’s all cheer on the javelin. You don’t want a conventional war? How about a nuclear one. Almost everyone here is missing the point. This war was preventable but was intentionally ignited by the Biden/DeepState admin. We should be actively trying to push for peace and give up the Ukraine/NATO thing. Every death be it Russian soldier, Ukrainian soldier or civilian is a tragedy and we should be trying to STOP it. Quit being bewitched by the MSM.

Modern Russian tanks are also equipped with a radar system called Arena,

They're not using modern tanks, they're using 50 year old T55 tanks from what I have read.
