Anon Catalog of Food Processing Fires Since 2019

Around 4 days ago I started noticing the mentions of food processing plant fires and it caught my attention. I noticed that most of the threads and images that were being posted were repeats and that really only about 20 facilities were being listed.

3 days ago through the power of autism I began meticulously cataloging and archiving every single instance of a major fire or incident at food processing plants, large farms, grain/cereal storage/processing facilities, and warehouses that store fertilizer and agriculture related chemicals and large equipment meant for industrial level farms going back to 2019.

Incidents at food processing plants are up more than 100% this year, and incidents at large scale farms are up more 310%. It's more than 1000% if you consider each individual farm in a County affected by Avian flu as separate incidents.

DESTROYED CATTLE/POULTRY/HOGS - Recalls, destroyed birds, cattle, hogs from a facility that is not a PROCESSING FACILITY.

GRAIN SILO FIRE - Fires, elevator malfunctions, other disasters that burn down and/or disable facilities involved in the storing and processing of grain/cereals, such as; soy beans, wheat, barley, etc.

[COMPANY NAME] FOOD PROCESSING PLANT - Food processing plants that take the poultry, beef, pork and turn into processed foods and/or meat packing plants/slaughter houses that take live animals and turn them into raw food or partially cooked foods.

WAREHOUSE FIRE - Fires that burn down warehouses that store fertilizer, agriculture related chemicals and equipment.

HECTARES LOST - When large (thousands of acres) worth of land is lost in some kind of fire or other disaster or government policy.

This was a hay fire. And had you actually watched the video at NBCLosAngeles, you would have heard this live report:

"Piles of hay at the farm fueled the fire that prompted residents to go outside and look at the flames. Chief Williams said that the piles of hay at the farm roughly amount to be a football field wide and three stories tall..."Nothing right now but bales upon bales of hay that are on fire right now...there were some cows on this property that were moo-ved out of the way..."

Wouldn’t it? I was recently trying to find an application or software that would make a simple timeline - they are all like “cloud” type websites where you have to upload all your info for them to make it into a timeline. Supposedly there’s a way to do it using MS Excel but you have to download an application. I did this but it didn’t create the timeline that I wanted. Very frustrating.

I’ve only eaten okra once, but the taller varieties make outstanding hedges! I’m planning to put a row of them where they can protect the little thorny bushes that will eventually be a more permanent hedge. And maybe a row surrounding my corn patch. I don’t know if it will stop the deer or raccoons, but it’s worth a shot.

Enlightening. Furthermore, as long as the crops in the fields and the cattle in the pastures aren’t destroyed, we will have our food.
