The BP-Husky Toledo refinery in Oregon, Ohio, has been “safely shut down” after a fire reportedly broke out for no apparent reason.

A BP spokesperson told Reuters that the company suspects “leaking fumes from a crude unit may have caused the ignition in another unit at the facility.”

This same person added that workers at the facility had just “finished a maintenance turnaround” a few weeks prior after having been offline for some time. (Related: Remember back in the summer when several Texas oil refineries shut down under similarly suspicious circumstances?)

According to reports, the BP-Husky Toledo refinery processes up to 160,000 barrels of crude oil per day, providing the Midwest with gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, propane, asphalt and various other products.

It is not yet known if the incident, which is still under investigation, will affect gas prices throughout the Midwest

Did a Dim try to Epstein the refinery?

BP has a long history of cost savings through no maintenance.

Oh, another mysterious refinery fire: "… after a fire reportedly broke out for no apparent reason."

Let's see her. Fires mysteriously breaking out at oil refineries during an energy crises. FBI on it? Nope.

100 Crisis Pregnancy centers vandalized and fire bombed across America by "Jane's Revenge". FBI on it? Nope.

Ray Epps incites and promotes Capitol riot and violence. FBI on it? Nope.

Antifa and BLM assault citizens, commit arson and vandalism destroying millions of dolars of property? FBI on it? Nope.

Historic monuments defaced, vandalized, and destroyed. FBI on it? Nope.

I don’t know, for a fact, that America is infested with brainwashed, hypnotized sleeper agent saboteurs just waiting for a cryptic phone call to set them off. We’ve reached a point where I think it’s not irrational or unreasonable or paranoid to think that such might be the case.

Could be.

But it was just down for maintenance.

One tiny little slip or mistake in the many plumbing connections, valves, controllers, wiring, connections, etc., and you have a big problem.

With HR everywhere bending over to hire the "right" folks to meet the insane ESG rules, the chance of a screw up increases.

It could also have been operator error, very easy to happen.

When I was a power plant operator, and later an electro-mechanical technician, I always re-thought through everything I was about to do or had done.

One fellow who chastised me for this encountered karma when a couple of weeks later he caused extreme havoc by not paying attention to detail.

Shut the plant down for 2 weeks while we cleaned up 4 feet deep of #6 bunker fuel.

I have goofed up too, but either caught it in time, or it was very minor.

First it was food processing plants and now it’s oil refineries. Sounds like the billionaires who want to depopulate the world, starting with the US, are hard at work.

A Russian agent could have done the deed—or an Iranian. Make the price of gas high undermines Biden and the USA. Use up the Reserves and America is on the ropes. Ships can sail without Oil, Trucks can’t roll to deliver things, Americas start to loot stores for food—social order falls apart.

Is “no apparent reason” equivalent to “died unexpectedly” nowadays?

And the EPA is getting all involved in repair approvals and delaying resumption of operations. The Freeport (TX) LNG terminal is on its third revision of the date that they will resume operations after an explosion in LNG distribution pipe racks in early June. The initial delay was expected to be three weeks. If I remember correctly it was revised to two months and now has been delayed until November (5 months).
