Have You Ever Wondered Why Deep State Actors and Media Repeaters Use the Word “Democracy” Instead Of “Constitutional Republic”?

I believe this is from the Dan Smoot Report from the 1960s:

VIDEO AT LINK...........

“The ideal of a constitutional republic is individual liberty. In this century, great strides have been made toward the goal of subverting our republic, and transforming it into a democracy. The foremost tactic of the subverters is subversion of “language” — by calling America a democracy, until people thoughtlessly accept the term, and use the term. Totalitarians have obscured the real meanings and principles of American government.” ~ Dan Smoot

Notice that Benjamin Franklin did NOT say “a democracy if you can keep it”. He said, famously, “a REPUBLIC if you can keep it“. Notice the song is NOT called “Battle Hymn of the Democracy”. It’s called “Battle Hymn of the REPUBLIC”.

Embarrassingly, many Republicans, even some good ones, fall into the trap of calling the United States a “democracy.” They should immediately stop.

Language matters and we should not allow the evil left to twist it without opposition.

More than that I wonder why they act like they have an exclusive right to define what is and what isn’t “a threat to our democracy”.

Acting like that is a sign of authoritarianism, not democracy.

It was FDR who coined the phrase "Arsenal of Democracy" during a fireside radio chat.

I guess "Arsenal of Constitutional Republic" didn't roll off the tongue as easily...

As I pointed out in another thread, they like “Freedom of Worship” too, vs Freedom of Religion. They want to confine our faith to church on Sunday mornings, not in the public square.

I am sure the Japanese-Americans robbed of their assets and dragged off to camps just for their ancestry were not impressed....

Democracy is more ambiguous. If democrats and liberals follow a pattern, it’s the use of words that either lack context or mean the exact opposite of what is really intended by them.

Democracy - the people directly decide what to do

Republic - the people select a group of elites who decide what to do

The problem is our elites have failed. They pursue their own self interest rather than the nation’s. Does that mean we should become more democratic and less republican?

Just replace ‘democracy’ with ‘power’ and you will see their true meaning.

” The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.”

The end game here is the idea that anyone who votes against the Democrat/Marxist Party is a “threat” that must be neutralized. It’s just around the corner, folks. So many things that were unthinkable just a few years ago are already real.
They’ve got the institutions, they’ve got the media, and now they’ve got the elections.
But make sure you get in line for that big screen TV this Friday!

A democracy eventually becomes nothing more than a rabble. It is much more simple than a republic. Little or no intelligence is required to manage or participate in a democracy. A republic is about responsible, thinking liberty. We no longer have that. The principles of republic have been hijacked by the rabble of democracy and greed.

Communists, fascists always want you to think they’re democratic. They use the word a lot. They even name their country after democracy - like Democratic Republic of Germany. It’s one of their many lies to trick people. How about DRUNSA? Democratic Republic of the United States of America. I bet they’ve thought about it.

No.

Stupid people (er, half the country) eat it up.

Helps them rationalize why they vote against their own self interest.

When we cede the American language to the enemy, we surrender our thoughts, ideas and arguments.

A fundamental recognition of this fact is required if we ever want to be in the majority. Language definition and usage is a battlefield. Our policies and ideas are not even recognizable by half the population. Their meaning of words is completely different than our own. The words we regularly and deem as innocuous have been perverted by groomer teachers and leftists. There are entire generations that think the language we use is hate speech. Apologies for using their vernacular, e.g., ‘hate speech’.
