I'd like for Ron DeSantis to be asked by the press if he'd pardon the January 6 political prisoners. I wonder what his answer would be?

I'd like to see someone ask Trump why he didn't pardon them before leaving office...

They hadn’t been charged a federal crime yet before he left office.

Can a President pardon a person prior to a conviction? I don’t think so, that would be a pardon after his presidency ended.

the majority weren’t even ID’d at the time Trump left office. And nobody was going to defend the idiots who went thru breaking windows and doors and trashing offices, which most everyone thought would be the only ‘accused’.

Because the uniparty where threatening to convict Trump for impeachment if he did....you know all things are subjective, so they could convict for whatever they thought they could get away with...there are many republicans who wanted Trump out of the way for good but knew it would end their political careers...like it did for Senate Pat Toomey (PA).
