The ref called holding.
The player said he was holding.
The other player sad he was being held.
And the whole reason for the holding was because the Eagles allowed 2 touchdowns on 2 of the same plays from earlier in the game.
It was a good decision to try to get away with a hold rather than get burned for the third time.
But by then, the ref was watching for it.

It’s an old axiom in every sport from archery to wrestling, never leave the outcome of the contest in the hands of the referees. If the Eagles had been up by 14 when that call was made, they still would have won.

That call would have made no difference if Jalen Hurts had not coughed up the ball earlier in the game, allowing the Chiefs to score. They otherwise played well enough to win.
