This is not meant to be a criticism of comedian Tyler Fischer since I am a big fan of his stuff. However, he should have skipped trying to a parody of the recent North Face commercial. Why? Because it is IMPOSSIBLE to parody since it is so over the top that any attempt to parody it falls flat in comparison. The best material for parody is taking absurd situations in which someone attempts to be serious. A great example was the ad for Viagra that Bob Dole did in 1998. Somehow there is something inherently HILARIOUS about a prominent Republican senator who was a former presidential candidate to talk about erectile dysfunction (ED). At the time I put together a bit about a very tired Dole taking a Viagra and, suddenly invigorated, rushes over to his bedroom door and while banging on it yells, "OH LIDDY, YOUR BOBBY BOY IS BAAAAACK!"
It wasn't hard to parody the Bob Dole ad because of the absurdity of the situation (I also speculated as to the reaction of Dwight D. Eisenhower in retirement also being asked to do a Viagra commercial.) However in these side by side comparisons of the North Face ad with its attempted parody you can see why it is impossible to parody something that is already a parody. Any attempt to parody such a commercial is doomed to fall flat in comparison.

I swear, I’ll bet the board of directors, CFOs, CEOs etc are all buying short sale positions on their own companies before rolling this stuff out. Illegal or not, it’s the only reason that makes sense.
That sort of silliness worked fine when we were in the “it’s all in fun” stage. We’re now in the “we’re after your kids” stage and it isn’t fun anymore, it’s war.

You almost wonder if the game plan is to have every company go woke so that you can’t possibly boycott everything and will be forced to indirectly support the ideology.
I laughed out loud so I guess he did a good job with the parody.
That is the Hollywood strategy. Make everything woke so you have no choice. Well there is always a choice. Unfortunately Americans have shown you can burn their values but they will overlook that for a couple of hours of entertainment

Oh, that’s what I think is happening.
That thought also occurred to me.
IT would not surprise me.
It may be more insidious than just forcing everybody to support woke ideology. It may be that they want us to turn against capitalism in general. Just like they made us turn against other things freedom loving Americans used to embrace, like football and boy scouts and the military and some churches.

I don’t believe this is anything that insidious or that they want boycotts. I think it’s all related to wanting to solidify their global (social) DEI scores or whatever to be considered a good global citizen under the new global government.
They are essentially self-protecting more than trying to piss anyone off.
