As dog owners, we often try to avoid saying certain words in front of our furry friends to prevent them from becoming overly excited. However, one dog mom decided to put her dog's attention to the test by having a fake phone conversation near him. The adorable reactions and engagement from her dog were captured and shared on social media.

Our dog knew that I was going to go somewhere in the car
before I did. Hmm I thought, the hardware store will probably
have what I need, and there he was at my feet wagging his tail.

At certain times we have to talk in pig Latin when our cats are in the room. They understand too many words, and will either get excited (uper-say ood-fay), or hide under the bed (age-cay, et-vay).

Our two labs do not listen to my liberal wife. I joke that they trained her well.

They don’t listen to her at all.

She gets frustrated and calls me when I’m traveling to talk to them on speakerphone. They hear my voice and immediately obey.

Dogs know words but they really know tone and inflection.

LOL! I’ve always thought he’s trying to understand new words - they are capable of learning and remembering LOTS of words :-)
