There is no upside to the groups of people arriving daily. They bring horrors like political assassination, mass shootings, bombings, espionage and widespread sabotage.
When “T” (Terror) day kicks off they will sabotage communications, transportation, roads and bridges, oil storage facilities, and there may be massive firearms or biological attacks on schools and hospitals. These people will be armed with military grade automatic weapons, explosives, and communications gear. The U.S. military, your own National Guards and police forces will not be adequate to cope with the assaults. In some cases airports, sea ports, and military bases will fall to Biden’s invaders. And given the makeup of our present Federal Government and Military, they may have individuals who will coordinate and cooperate with the invaders.
There needs to be three areas of mobilization for T day. On a local level, county sheriff’s need to deputize all patriotic able bodied males and females as reserve deputy sheriff’s.
On a statewide level, each state must form a militia NOW.
Red state militias need to have communications for regional cooperation.
In the beginning there will be massive casualties and the responses will probably not be effective. But in time, natural leaders will emerge, and the citizens will devise defensive and offensive strategies. We are AMERICANS and when given the freedom to act, we can solve desperate situations.
Don’t worry about the blue states. Their idiot governors will cave to the demands of the terrorists and cartels. The Red states will form the nucleus of a national defense which will ultimately prevail against Biden’s invaders.

Thank you all for your responses. As bad as I think a regional or nationwide insurrection could be, events can prove to be even worse in reality. And I haven’t yet seen a better time for such an event as now. We have a President in cognitive decline, run by a government of people who want to confiscate firearms from law abiding citizens by force, and government officials and employees who virulently hate this nation, with traitor politicians who want to encourage even MORE border violations. And a cherry on top: A Federal judge said that it is unconstitutional to bar illegal aliens from possessing firearms. Now, how do you do a background check on people who have fake ID’s? Next up: how long will it be before a Federal judge rules that illegal aliens have a right to concealed weapons permits?

A better time will be closer to the election.

Catching people off guard and then messing with the election by either canceling it or forcing all mail in voting, will ensure the democrats remain in power.

I've forged some good local relationships over the past couple of years.
This weekend I visited the local Army Surplus store - another great place for preparedness items.
I recommend the formation of local "hunting clubs", "fitness clubs", "communications clubs", "orienteering clubs" and "canning clubs". It's not a bad idea to avoid words like "militia" ... for now.
In 2013 I authored a book that covered organizing small communities for such situations as we now contemplate. I really need to publish a second edition.
