Remember all the hoopla by the media in June 2002 about the STAR WITNESS of the J6 committee? Not just any witness but the STAR WITNESS. It was supposed to be such a big deal that they even got a TV producer to arrange the testimony as a big production number for the public. Well, Cassidy Hutchinson turned out to the the STAR WITNESS yet her testimony was nothing but third hand hearsay that, as more facts started coming out later, she was forced to issue a FIFTEEN PAGE correction to her testimony. FIFTEEN PAGES. One' could understand a few corrections of much less than a page to clear up some minor details but FIFTEEN PAGES of corrections? That sure sounds like someone desperately trying to avoid prosecution for perjury.
p.s. Cassidy Hutchinson is NOT SUICIDAL.

If I were the prosecutor in this case, I would charge Hutchinson with perjury and offer her a deal if she starts identifying those who suborned her perjury. There are bigger crooks at play here than Cassidy Hutchinson.

I think I know what happened here. Some Secret Service guy who wanted to get in her pants fed her a cock and bull story about heroically stopping Trump from seizing the wheel of the Beast and crashing it into the Capitol, and she’s so dumb she bought it and repeated it to the Dems. Now she’s stuck.

Was she under oath when she testified? Since it was not an actual House committee, the Dems did not have to follow House rules such as allowing the minority leader to choose the Republicans for the committee. Perhaps anti- Trump testifiers did not take a real oath. No oath: no perjury. Dems play hardball.

I assumed she was but I don't know. I didn't watch that circus, knowing that it was nothing but a Never-Trumper setup. If she wasn't, then you are correct that perjury wouldn't apply.

I hadn’t heard before about this 15 pages of corrections. In a quick search I don’t find anything online. Do you have a link? Where does this story come from, and what’s the nature of the corrections?
