Who could resist such an inspiration?
My only quibble, in real life pix of this type, the names are always 180 degrees opposite the pictures. I only mention it because it has always annoyed me. Maybe other, wiser freeper can enlighten us further!

are you saying that the names don't line up correctly with the pictures (in real ads)?
My best guess is that they do that on purpose, in order to force the viewer to spend more time looking at the ad, trying to match the names to the faces.
just my guess anyway.

Yes, that's probably it. Here I am still thinking about all those movie posters from the past, which otherwise I would have forgotten.

It's actually based on billing. Here, Kerry would be getting top billing and therefore be first, then Edwards, and Mcawful last. The order they appear in the image doesn't matter. (Spent a year doing layouts for Sony Pictures.)

Exactly...but this was a parody and to avoid confusion I took some liberties and rearranged the billing to match the characters.
I could have rearranged the characters instead, but John Kerry as Ulyssess just didn't work as well as Edwards for obvious reasons.

Oh they have a plan alright, but they won't reveal their real plan because they know if Americans knew their real plan they would never be elected. LOL Plus it was the original tagline from O Brother and I thought it kinda fit.
