Maybe these inmates just need some good music to help them dine on their turkey meals. What if the El Paso County Sheriff piped in this little ditty by comedian Adam Sandler during mealtime? Surely this would put the inmates in the mood for some turkey...heh, heh, heh!
"The Thanksgiving Song"
"They wanna hear the thanksgiving song! All right.." "This is uhh, This is the Thanksgiving Song" "I hope you enjoy it."
[Starts playing]
Love to eat turkey
Love to eat turkey
Shout from Crowd: "I love you Adam!"
Adam Sandler: "Ohhh, I love you!"
Love to eat turkey
'Cause it's good
Love to eat turkey
Like a good boy should
'Cause it's turkey to eat
So good
Adam Sandler: "That clappin's messing my head up man. I appreciate it. But I was trying to think of the next line and all I hear is clapping. Here we go... Thanks anyways"
Turkey for me
Turkey for you
Let's eat the turkey
In my big brown shoe
Love to eat the turkey
At the table
I once saw a movie
With Betty Grable
Eat that turkey
All night long
Fifty million Elvis fans
Can't be wrong
Turkey lurkey doo and
Turkey lurkey dap
I eat that turkey
Then I take a nap
Thanksgiving is a special night
Jimmy Walker used to say Dynomite
That's right
Turkey with gravy and cranberry
Can't believe the Mets traded Darryl Strawberry
Turkey for you and
Turkey for me
Can't believe Tyson
Gave that girl V.D.
White meat, dark meat
You just can't lose
I fell off my moped
And I got a bruise
Turkey in the oven
And the buns in the toaster
I'll never take down
My Cheryl Tiegs poster
Wrap the turkey up
In aluminum foil
My brother likes to masturbate
With baby oil
Turkey and sweet potato pie
Sammy Davis Jr.
Only had one eye
Turkey for the girls and
Turkey for the boys
My favorite kind of pants
Are corduroys
Gobble gobble goo and
Gobble gobble gickel
I wish turkey
Only cost a nickel
Oh I love turkey on Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!"
- Inmates launch half-hour hunger strike about turkey diet
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Some Colorado prisoners are complaining their food is for the birds.
Five straight turkey dinners prompted El Paso County jail inmates to go on a brief hunger strike.
The inmates refused to eat Saturday, arguing that meals such as turkey chili mac, turkey a la king, turkey stew and turkey sausage were unnecessarily cruel.
Sheriff's officials said Wednesday that the hunger strike lasted a half hour.
"Turkey, turkey and more turkey is not a form of punishment," the sheriff's office said in a tongue-in-cheek prepared statement. "The inmates accepted this reasoning and gobbled up their dinner meal."
The inmates had spaghetti for dinner Wednesday -- with turkey-based meat sauce.
It is my belief that turkey hot dogs are a sin against both God and man.
I could not even conceive of eating something like turkey chili.
Even with the overabundance of turkey, they're still eating better than most 3rd world types. Conditions could be a lot worse for them

Good friend of mine just got back from almost two months as a hostage in Iraq -- he got two months worth of bread and water and nearly died from it. I wonder how these liberal-pampered criminals would like to try bread and water for a month or so???
send em to gitmo.....they'll love it there now...no more duck under glass; no more whine with meals...all the whiners are on their way to Afghanstan gitmo to eat a more interesting diet of duck....
Awww the memory of Gitmo Country Club...(see Rushlimbaugh.com for more details)
Let 'em have the Kung Pao Trio for a little variety - cat, rat and dog.
Bwaaahaha!!
Wow a whole 1/2 hour.
Gee it's a good thing their Cable TV didn't go out, they would have taken hostages.
The use of anything by Adam Sandler would bring in Amnesty International and the ACLU
and i'd agree with them
North Carolina is neck and neck (if you'll pardon the pun) with Minnesota as the top turkey producing state. I live 125-150 miles west of three of the top five turkey producing counties in the nation:

Naturally, "Big Turkey" wants you to think of turkey not just as a Thanksgiving (and maybe Christmas) food, but as a year-round staple. Hence, the emphasis during non-holiday periods on turkey in other than whole bird form: ground turkey, turkey sausage, turkey "bacon," turkey hot dogs, and turkey cutlets.
To me, some of the turkey products are not bad, which I realize is damning with faint praise. And faint is the word, as in faint taste. On the plus side, it's sometimes cheaper than pork, usually cheaper than beef, and most would agree, better for you (in terms of fat content). So, if you're a skilled cook, or know someone who is, you can manage to offset the turkey's blandness with spices and other ingredients, and good cooking methodology. I recently had turkey picatta (turkey breast cutlets pounded thin, sauteed in olive oil (maybe butter, too -- there goes that health advantage), with lots of garlic, lemon juice, white wine, and a couple of other things I forgot. It was better than "not bad," though few would mistake it for veal picatta.
I eat a lot of turkey these days. It's good lean protein. I will agree that it gets sickening sometimes, but if I can do it out of choice, these ol' boys got squat to complain about.
Oh yeah, that would ever happen. These liberal ninnies are pathetic and have no idea what abuse is. They would probably coplain because it goes against their Atkins or South Beach diets.
I hope your friend is ok after his real abuse as a hostage.
