SAN DIEGO -- Animal control officers in Hollister, Calif., are a little worried after they received two litters of puppies in the last couple of weeks that show signs of what they consider inbreeding.
Some of the puppies were born with no front legs.
But one little pup doesn't seem to mind at all. She was seen playing with her mom like any other healthy, happy puppy.
With a tail that was constantly wagging, the happy little camper chased her momma and even leaped across the cage onto her momma.
This story has a very happy ending for all the puppies involved. They have all been adopted.

It seems to be getting around fairly well. I bet that with a padded roller skate the dog will be just fine.

So, when will they be shutting down that Puppy Mill? Man, that's cruel!
But, I'm glad these pups found homes. :)

No kidding. You'd think they would have stopped after the first litter.

Yeah - who knows! I saw a dog on a Animal Planet show that had no front legs... big dog... doberman... who had learned to walk upright. Hard on the hips, I imagine, but she got around.
I wish all dogs could find homes... it almost seems like these really sad cases almost stand a better chance at finding a home than the perfectly healthy but plain dogs probably filling the kennels at the same shelter as these are.

This is obviously proof of evolution.
