Do you have an emergency vet nearby?

Watch him closely. If he starts showing any distress get him to a vet. Dogs can be very sensitive to bee stings.AWB

Have you gotten the stingers out? Have you called a vet? Even an emergency vet should be able to tell you over the phone if that is enough stings to warrant a trip to them.

Bees or yellow jackets or hornets?

Apply the antisting capsules. They are glass ampules with a liquid and an applicator that comes up after the glass ampule is crushed. They are available at drug stores.

How much does your dog weigh?

If your dog is showing any sort of reaction, try Benedryl or something akin to the antihistimine in Benedryl - Benedryl is someting that dogs can take.

ONLY use aspirin (a low-dose type pill, probably split in half) for the pain - as all other pain killers are usually lethal to dogs.

Check the dogs gums for color. If you lift the lip and the dog’s gums are white the dog is in shock and needs attention immediately. You can give the dog water, but no food. Also - to see if the dog is heading toward a shocky state - put a little pressure on the dogs gums and see how long it takes for the gums to return to color.

Unflavored meat tenderizer, mix with a little water for paste!
Worked on me last summer!
NOW! And then get him to the vet.

Get to a vet asap. You don’t say how big a dog you have, but you may want to also start by giving him a half a benadryl (+ or - depending on size) for starters to help stave off any serious allergic reaction(s).

If he’s having a bad reaction or difficulty breathing I would definitely get him to a vet now.

If he’s just got welts at the sites of the stings and is otherwise OK, some benedryl would help with the reaction... depending on weight, you can give a few to several benedryl. How big a dog?

As everyone else has said, take your dog to the vet ASAP. Being that it’s the weekend, you may need to go to an emergency vet. If you contact your vet, they may have emergency contact information for the emergency vets... if they don’t, contact your local animal shelter or humane society.

Good luck and God Bless,

Mike

Benadryl may help your pooch until you can get him/her checked out by a vet. It’s safe for dogs.
