Yes, AAM, he’s an Aussie. I saw your dogs on your homepage, very nice!

Peggy, your dogs are very pretty too!

Yeah, I’m still laughing about him sitting in the tub, in the dark.

If you have a scanner connected to your computer, just scan the pics and save them to your photo file. Go to http://photobucket.com/ and register. There you can follow instructions how to upload the pics and post them, etc. It’s fairly easy to do.

Cute pics of your doggy. : )

Sounds like you know a lot about doggy meds. I’ve been wondering about giving human glucosomine MSM to my dog. I’ve been buying the doggie kind but it’s a lot more expensive.

A lot of companies have started putting glucosomine supplements in their dog food. When one of my German Shorthairs began having problems with arthritis, I changed her food to Purina One. After about two months, she quit limping and didn’t limp again for the rest of her life - another five years. I think for a mild case, dog foods can do the trick.

Granted, Purina One isn’t the best dog food made, but it’s a whole lot better that Ol’ Roy or Alpo.

Just buy the Walmart glucosomine MSM .

Adjust the dose to the dog’s weight.

I hope all is well. I have discussed with vets that dogs and cats can have anaphylaxis and according to the vet 50 mg which is a normal human dose will not hurt your dog just make him sleepy

My late black lab, katie scarlett was about to go through some very expensive authritis treatment at the vets, when one day while chasing the ball into the brier thicket, she got into a hornets nest.

There were hundreds on her. I got them off by throwing the ball into the lake, which she would chase.

From that day forward, her authritis never bothered her again.

This is actually true for people too.

Ask any beekeeper. We NEVER have arthritis, so long as we get stung a few times while managing the hives. There's something in the bee venom that dissolves the calcium deposits in the joints. My dad would get tagged pretty regularly once we got a hive of the little mean black native bees -- and the crackling and creaking in his shoulder joints disappeared completely.
