WALLOPS ISLAND
To take advantage of better weather, officials at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport have moved up the planned launch of a $60 million rocket to 7:35 tonight.
The launch of the Minotaur I rocket, which carries several satellites, has been delayed twice because of storms. The launch window will be open until 11 p.m. today. If weather interferes again, another attempt could be made Saturday night.

T-minus 18 minutes and counting. Lower and upper level winds are "go" for launch. Also, the spacecraft is being configured for launch.
10:45 scheduled.
So looking at the video ... is the rocket sitting up on top of a large concrete block or is that what it’s trying to boost to orbit? :)
Where is the video? I am on Spaceflightnow.com and can’t find a video feed.
Thanks. Hold on now.
HOLD!
Bummer. That was very close to liftoff.
Thanks. Not tonight I guess.
I couldn’t see it anyway tonight. Too cloudy. I will look forward to the future.
I am hanging in for the update.
Bummer indeed.

The launch team is safing the Minotaur 1 rocket and backing out of countdown procedures after this unplanned hold.
0243 GMT (10:43 p.m. EDT Fri.)
HOLD. T-minus 2 minutes, 13 seconds and holding. The launch team has aborted the final countdown.
Doesn’t sound like it’s going anytime soon.
Yep, looks like the window will close. Don’t forget the shuttle on Monday. That’s one I can see from my front door.
Got it, very close. Please let me know if you hear anything about further development.
0250 GMT (10:50 p.m. EDT Fri.)
SCRUB. Officials have scrubbed tonight’s launch attempt after a late hold in the countdown just two minutes before launch.
A launch controller reported a parameter was out of limits, prompting the hold.
Damn, thanks much for the info. Bedtime I suppose.
You lucky person. I want to retire near you.
I am looking forward to Monday’s launch. Thanks to KevinDavis, I know about this stuff in Connecticut.!
So tonight they are hauling this rocket back to the shop?
WALLOPS ISLAND
The launch of the Minotaur I rocket has been scrubbed for a third time this week.
To take advantage of better weather, officials at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport had moved up the planned launch of the $60 million rocket to 7:35 tonight, delayed until 10:45 p.m. and then scrubbed the launch with less than three minutes before takeoff because of a weak signal between mission control and the rocket.
The launch of the Minotaur I rocket, which carries several satellites, had been delayed twice because of storms on Tuesday and Thursday. It was delayed earlier tonight because of some equipment problems, but repaired by about 9:30 p.m. and the launch countdown restarted.
Another attempt is not planned for Saturday.
