A place for Sarah Palin conservative supporters to get involved.

Posted on 10/04/2009 10:53:55 AM PDT by Whatnow

Ok, it’s been said we need to take the Republican Party back..... Let's get some ideas down on paper and start getting other conservative supporters involved. Looks like some wont to wait on Sarah Palin. She can’t do this alone.

If the MSM wasn't scared to death of Sarah Palin, they would be treating her like they did McCain.

They all but picked McCain as the Republican candidate because they knew it was fairly certain he would lose (and for a bonus, it would anger conservatives).

How about strengthening voter ID laws on the state level? Getting state Republican Parties to close their primaries?

We need a list of good Conservative Republicans to support. Not Republicans who say they are Conservatives but ones who walk the walk and not just talk the talk. We also need a list of true RINOs who need to be turned into Conservatives or drummed out of the party.
We need a newsletter or a blog site to link all Conservative Republicans in this movement to re-capture the party. Call it the Palin Report or Reagan round-up. We need a place to compare notes and rally supporters and the nation.
Lastly we should rally to have a mount Rushmore like carving done on a mountain of Ronald Reagan. In some western state even if its in Alaska. California would be great but that would happen only when the Reaganites recapture the state from the leftists.

Do it from the bottom up. Get involved at the local level and start pushing moderates away at the county level. Then take over at the state level. One of the problems we have is that at the state-GOP level, it’s “business as usual”. Throw the corrupt bums out first, and stop making deals with rats.

That's a great Idea. We have that same problem in North Carolina.

Already donated to SarahPAC twice. I have the first book “Sarah” and I’m sure “Going Rogue” will be under the Christmas tree this year.

Well said. There’s so much that we need to fix in this country. We as Conservatives have droped the ball for so many years.

There is absolutely no need to wait. We have Congressional elections coming up in 2010. It’s time to identify conservative candidates.

Buying her book(s) is a way of direct donation. It’s the best investment I’ve ever made.

At the risk of sounding redundant, we each must get involved in local & state races. Start researching those people out plus the judges that come up for election (Missouri elects).

State sovereignty as outlined in the 10th amendment must be re-asserted immediately. We have a senator & rep that are going to be issuing a resolution for state sovereignty when our legislature commences in January. This MUST be done if at all possible otherwise, the feds are going to suffocate the states. We already see states begging every time something happens.

Federally, no, Former Gov Palin cannot do this alone: We already know though that she has massive appeal to constitutional conservatives and some critical ‘verbal’ support from the likes of The ‘Great One-Mark’, Rush Limbaugh and some others. Those people are extremely intelligent and we don't know what they are doing ‘behind the scenes’ either. But we have to start weeding these traitors out from the bottom up and of course continue to communicate on here. (sorry for the long post) I would rather eat a bug than draw attention to myself but...have been doing what I can when I can where I can. Finally..last word honest, strangle the RNC. Donate to candidates directly...at least until Michael Steele can prove that they will provide support to the candidates that we choose. /rant? off

Let's just read Gramsci and Alinsky -- they have already provided the instructions for internal usurpation of a power structure.

The only difficulty is, the people in power are Marxists, and aren't interested in honesty, consistency, mercy, or anything else except their OWN POWER. And they are vigilant about anyone or anything which might -- even over time, even remotely -- threaten their hegemony.

The three best hopes are a pincer movement (from above and beneath); Christian revivial; and reclaiming the press and schools (a generational event).

Cheers!

Thank you....and imo, it's absolutely the most pressing issue in this climate. One of Fmr Gov. Palin's final moves before exiting, was signing the declaration/law of AK state sovereignty. I followed her on twitter in her last few weeks and she truly did everything possible to 'shore' up AK.

There was a report from S.D. a few weeks ago that the feds were trying to federalize the national guard, and although it is an executive power in the constitution when there is a war, it is ultimately up to the individual states/governors on activating the national guard in that state. Without State sovereignty being reasserted, states could lose that power as well (imo)
