TMZ has learned Roethlisberger spent some time at the Velvet Elvis in Georgia last night -- before heading over to the Capital City Club ... where the Steelers QB allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman in the bathroom.

Just not very smart...
When he was accused of the same behavior last year, people rallied around him when he denied it. Not so sure people will do the same this time if the accusation may be remotely plausible.
How many times has this guy been accused of sexual assault now? Is he married?
The thing with pro athletes is, they have so many willing opportunities on the road - why would they ever be stupid enough to harass any women? But some of them are, as Kobe Bryant showed us.
When he got accused last year it was in a civil suit supposedly a full year after the incident, a clear money grab. We’ll see what happens with this one, no charges filed yet and he’s been interviewed by the cops.
But, this story begs the question - "How does TMZ beat all these other publications to the punch?" You'd think that ESPN, at least, would break the story.
More likely another shakedown by a woman with $ signs in her eyes.
TMZ.com reports that Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexually assaulting “a young woman in Georgia.”
The credibility Andrea McNulty hoped for finally arrives. Big Ben was also accused of raping McNulty in a July 2009 civil suit. The new allegations stem from an incident at the Capital City Club in Milledgeville, GA. The woman has been treated and released from the hospital, but police have already interviewed Roethlisberger. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is also on the case, though no charges have been filed. Yet.

This time the accuser came forward immediately and went to the hospital. The last accuser took months to make the charge. Big Ben might be in big trouble.

She claims that this happened in an empty restroom at the Capitol club. No such thing exists.
All he needs is a cushy bus and they will come willingly by the dozen. What a stupid douchebag. But of course that stupidity was on full display during his un-helmeted motorcycle crash year ago.
It seems like a money grab because she waited so long and never reported to the police. If so, you would think Big Ben would really be careful to avoid even an accusation of this. Unless he does this stuff a lot and thinks people and the media will cover for him.

Well you can’t entirely avoid accusations, those come from other people, anybody can accuse anybody else of anything, they don’t even have to be in the same state. He could avoid any behavior that gives anybody anything that might be evidence (like being in the same room), but that involves living in a bubble and never being with another human being.
