LARKSPUR, Colo. A Colorado teen said a bear got into his empty car, honked the horn and sent it rolling into a thicket with the bear inside. .. he and his family were asleep in their Larkspur home, 30 miles south of Denver, during the joyride early Friday. He said the bear got into the car through an unlocked door and knocked the shifter into neutral, which sent it rolling backward 125 feet.
Story thinks the door slammed shut when the car jolted to a stop, trapping the bear inside.

"Food was left in the car. It's troubling for us," he said. I smell a new law on it's way.

This is what happens when you leave a pizza sitting in your open convertible in Tahoe.

There is where we are moving to. I just asked a resident if they get many bears, He said, “Not really. Haven’t seen one around lately.” Hmmm, me thinks he’s funnin around.

People who live in bear country seem to be very casual about bears.
We were visiting some people in Idaho and I said I thought I’d take a walk down their long long driveway. The resident said “fine go ahead”. I decided to ask about bears and he said they ‘don’t see many bears, just one every 3 weeks’. I asked how long it had been since they had seen a bear and he said “3 weeks”.
This Texas girl did not go for that walk.
