This $600 car is no toy and is ready to be released in China next year. The single seater aero car totes VW (Volkswagen) branding. Volkswagen did a lot of very highly protected testing of this car in Germany, but it was not announced until now where the car would make it's first appearance.

Looks about the size of a go cart! Makes the Smart Car look like a Lincoln Continental!

Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

Cool. Probably is safer in an accident than a motorcycle. The German stuff is often incredible. I sure hope VW or Ford or a non Obama car company gets us a 100 mpg car to screw the Saudis.

If they'd also license it as a legal coffin, it could do double duty!

I’d buy one for that price. Flat black - same color as my cycle.

Illegal in nearly every U.S. state.
Nevada might be the only exception.
It would probably be badged as a Porsche here, priced at $6,000 plus dealer prep, transportation, etc.
And banned in commuter lanes nationwide.
Actually makes more sense than the Chevy Jolt too.
I doubt it will ever be offered in the U.S.
