Looking for advice...Those of us in Texas have no experience in Rioting. There is a really good chance that the Mavs will finish off the Heat tomorrow night and I'm really worried that us Texans will just look foolish trying to Riot with no experience at it.
I'm afraid it will be embarrassing, most of us will try to buy Flat Screens, storm a Wal-Mart with coupons, pick up trash instead of dumping it on the streets, and the minute the cops tell us to disperse we're all going to do it...
It will just be silly, if we start any fires most of us will just rush off to the fire stations where we are all volunteers and then come back and put them out.
Any advice from Los Angeles would be appreciated.
Let's Go MAVS!
The Time is Now(itzki)!
Turn over a police car and torch it — it looks great on camera and will establish your bona fides as a sports town.
Either that or turn over Jerry Jones and torch him — same result.
Yea I know!
4 NBA championships in San Antonio and not one riot.
Maybe it’s too hot.
Burn Jones and Cuban at the stake and your work will be done...
If Texans need advice about how to riot, it simply shows how far Texas has fallen. What ever happened to “one riot, one Ranger?”
I am from So Florida and hope you guys win, enough of these blubbering overpaid fools we have here.
Friend of mine just stole this for Facebook...
Forget LA, get your advice from Detroit.
Just be careful that you don’t hurt any Muzzies or illegal aliens. They’ll lock you up and throw away the key. Americans and their property are fair game after any championship win.
The biggest problem I see is that we will all turn in around 11:30 because we will need to be at work on Monday....because we have jobs.
Actually I am a 44 year former Chicagoan who moved to Haltom City last year. I was there for the 86 Bears, 6 Jordan/Bulls Championships, and the 2005 White Sox. Chicago for the most part did it right in their celebration. I look forward to the Mavs taking it all. They have my respect....plus I am against anything that has to do with Pat Reilly.
It’s kinda like a stampede with drunk out of shape men instead of cattle.
I’m sure that if the Mavericks are in top form and deliver their curling stone down the curling sheet to the house, with the aid of their sweepers of course, that they’ll be the champions!
Read Coulter’s new book. It will explain all you need to know about ‘mob’ mentality. You may have to recruit some liberals to get a real riot going.
Don’t play casual for even a minute. You might not be back in the NBA finals again for another 40 years. Act like it means that much. Win one out of two. OK, pay me.
Funniest quote I've heard so far came from a Heat fan who said, "never ask LeBron for change for a dollar, He'll give you .75 cents but you'll never get that fourth quarter out of him."
I hope we find out how Texas reacts to the NBA championship, but having to win one on the road against such hyped opponents makes me nervous.
Rioters and looters will get an @ss whoopin’ or shot, maybe both.
I was a Miami Heat fan since 1990, because I was born and raised in South Florida. However, these guys are embarassing. Game five was the worst. Lebron James screamed at his teammate Mario Chalmers to leave the game so that he can return to the court. I used to think that was the coach’s job. By the way, Mario Chalmers score 9 points in the last 9 minutes at that point, including a half court 3 pointer to close the first half, he is red hot. Unlike Lebron James has been thus far in the finals. It is like they are not even coached. They are just a bunch of ball hogs. Lebron James who used to draw comparisons to Michael Jordon. To be honest, there is one athlete I might start comparing him to, the way he behaved in Cleveland and from what I can see in this finals. That is Mike Tyson.
