DH stocked up his little mini beer refrigerator last night so I’m drinking one of his Tall Grass Buffalo Sweat Oatmeal Cream Stouts. Yum. My favorites are stouts, porters and double bocks.

I drink Oak Leaf (sold at Walmart for $3 a bottle) The Cabernet is quite drinkable.

I’ve made beer twice; 2nd time was not as good as the first. Then, I realized I hate waiting and others make it better than me...thus, moved to the craft/micro stuff. Would it be ok w/ the thread initiator if we moved into discussion about favorite microbrews, tours of craft brewers, and tastes, etc.? I could discuss this for hours. I am officially a BEER SNOB, and proud of it. Small business USA, baby!

I live in Mississippi, the land of almost no beer. I was wondering if anyone is interest in trading different beers and homebrews? I just bottled a Surly Bender clone today and plan to brew an Imperial IPA next week. Here's a pic of my finished product called "Get Bent".
