It's okay to laugh about Texas politics sometimes. So without engaging in ideological discussions over border fences, Rovism and the UN. Let's ask ourselves the all important question that really should matter to Texas voters. There's a debate going on that Tom Pauken looks like Newt Gingrich's brother? While others argue he more closely resemble the Late Night comedian, Jay Leno. What do FReepers say? Leno or Gingrich?

You can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace on line to be posted here.
Best bet is to save the image to an image hosting service, I use Photobucket. In Firefox right click and select "Copy image location", in Safari right click and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the address in the address bar. Other browsers have similar tricks.

Congrats!
It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
Thanks buddy. At first it looked to complicated for me, but I kept at it and now I can post photos. Really helpful.
W are old school around here.
The good news is that HTML is pretty simple.
Freepers, lets all post more photos of Pauken look-a-likes. Today’s the first time I heard the Jack Kemp thing. But now that I think about it, he does resemble him.
You learn fast. :-)
Extol the virtues of your candidate for Texas governor. Try to avoid trashing a long-time movement conservative like Tom Pauken. Instead, try the approach of explaining how your candidate might be a better candidate or better governor.
I have a favorable attitude regarding Tom Pauken but I am not as familiar with Greg Abbott as I might be. Educate me and others like me. Otherwise we may be tempted to see this race through a prism of Ted Cruz's very necessary victory over Dewhurst. We need warriors and not country club types. I am willing to see Abbott and Pauken as warriors until proven otherwise.
OTOH, Texas has suffered John Cornyn for some time and Kay Bailey Hutchison as well. Texas owed more to America. We need political revolutionaries not Bourbon Democrats turned Republican.
When you live in China for a few years, you learn how to be clever real fast, or you become poor and can’t even afford a plane ticket home.
Yes, I kind of figured the negative attacks not too effective here since I’m attacking another Republican candidate. So, I’m trying different approaches. For example, encourage Freepers to go to one of Pauken’s speeches, or to use a sense of humor, so he get’s more name recognition and people know what he actually looks like.
Howdy, and welcome, neighbor!
Right down the road from you in Royse City.
Oops, I misunderstood your message. I’m a Pauken supporter. Actually, Pauken struggles with low name recognition, so I’m trying a humorous strategy to get people to know what Pauken looks like.
Cool, I hope you can go to Pauken’s speech in Rockwall on Saturday.
