Old Red Dot Indian women worst drivers I see

Followed by young hipster women of any race in PC vehicle texting or yakking driving along oblivious in addition to just being FWD

Next up old folks....yes I’m getting there myself

Progressives generally drive slow....clutching the wheel.....angry and and glaring around......ugly women and goofy men......bumperstickers galore

Agreed

I had an old 1600 and later a Tii

Folks here are full of pooha...bet they just love their Ford Focus

Worse yet I bought my wife a look pryetty in 996 we’ve had for years paid for....

The assclowns here told me with 5 kids I must have a tiny Willie to own a Porsche....I was touched they were so concerned

I like all cars....a Chevy black Z71 Silverado....still with cloth seats for now

I did not like Lada but the off road Neva was not half bad for a commie car

I swear by land cruisers....had one 10 years

I prefer dodge Cummins trucks

Had an MGA...MGBGT....440 Charger slapstick...71....metallic green

Old land rover 110s.....new hipster rovers suck

Plenty beemers and Benz....all good

Jaguar sucks too...but shore purity

And so forth

Folks who don’t appreciate automobiles are like those who don’t like babies and dogs

I have no quarrel with that. My comments were mainly about what happened in the past.

I do have a problem, however with blanket statements about entire makes of cars.

I owned a BMW X5 (issue year) that was a frigging engineering nightmare (my wife’s car she had to have). Manual 5 speed shift. 1st gear was geared so low it wouldn’t move over a mile or two an hour. Geared for pulling on inclines it could never travel.

Other aspects of the care that include maintenance and repair were just plain comical if it weren’t for costs involve. An example was a front turn signal replacement. The entire headlight assembly had to be removed solely from the front in a three handed procedure that required non-standard tools. The dealer charged about $130 for this typically. It took me about 2 hours to do it myself with a third hand. Essentially the car was just a piece of crap rushed out too soon before the engineers could see just what they’d done.

1992 FJ80 Landcruiser

2006 Dodge Cummins 4x4

79 Malibu 2 door w a 383 stroker

1953 2 door Chevy Classic with a 502 crate engine

2013 Toyota Crewmaxx 2WD with their TRD (eaton) Super Charged 5.7

And a 1988 Toyota HiLux 4x4 with an original 22RE squirrel motor ....

My take on Prius drivers .......this video bee’itch ..... I would dial up my cummins EFI live programmer and turn that wench skate carbon black till she died of a tizzy fit.....

http://youtu.be/CVdMySWfAIQ

Had a Porsche 914 with a 6 cyl when stationed in Italy, a 84 vette, a 380SE Mercedes , a 78 280Z..... Love go fasts yet strive for endurance and off road ability so last one I will ever sell is the little 4x4 88 Toyota hilux.

Had it I when stationed in Alaska and in Panama. My stuck story involved the Darian Gap on the Columbia border .... D9 cat got me out.

I figure folks get or should get to drive what makes em happy ..... Prius drivers like the white faced Hereford cow in the linked video ..... Not so much errr mulch !

Oh an a KLR650 bike tops off my transportation fun !

Stay safe !

I have a prius as I drive an hour one way to work for a round trip of ~100 miles/day. I’ve gotten about 60-65 mpg over the last 5 tanks of gas. I run 60-65 in the center lane in a 60 mph zone for nearly the entire length.

The getup and go isn’t the best (a 4 cylinder when using the motor), but I have found that I get better mileage when I don’t try to get to 65 within 10 feet of the ramp and instead ease up to it over a mile stretch.

I’m not a nut about it - if someones on my tail I put it down to get out of the guys way. However, most of my driving is early morning late evening due to my current schedule.

For all those making comments against the prius I’ll just say: book, cover. I’ve known plenty of muscle car, minivan, pickup, and truckers who’ve been real jerks on the road as well. It’s the driver not the car.

That some drivers of the Prius are self-righteous does not make it any less useful a vehicle.

I drive an 08 Vibe. Which is basically a Toyota Matrix. I get about 27 mpg around town, and 30 on the highway, when I drive at “normal” speeds for around here of 75 or so.

I drive back and forth across the state a lot for work and discovered when I drive on the freeway at 60 I get 37 rather than 30. Not too bad.

You got my point exactly - I really wanted a truck, but because of my commute I needed better gas mileage so I got the prius - it serves the purpose moves me from point A to point B safely, saves me some money, and has some nice options to boot.

Back in my college days I borrowed a friend’s Fiat Brava for a couple days. It was pretty fun to drive, but with all the stories I’ve heard about Italian cars I wouldn’t want to own one. Unless it’s a Ferrari. :)

There’s a friend of mine who’s got the Italian car bug bad, though. He owns THREE X1/9’s, plus a Lancia Scorpion.

Oh, I think they can do 65 - they choose not to. They often go 5 miles under the speed limit and don’t care how many cars are behind them. I really them to be some of the most passive aggressive unaggressive drivers on the road.

Dr. Porsche has agreed that many people think his car is a good place to start, and customization can make it even better.
