Those that grew up hating the military during Vietnam, those who would destroy it are now the civilians running it. They dont care a wit about its ability to fight and win wars, only that it be destroyed once and for all. If they can do it from within, fine, if not, they will find other ways. Barack Obama and his fellow traveling scum are the laughing stock of the world now, and no one, not our enemies, friends or anyone in the middle trusts us to keep our defense treaties. We have no military worthy of being called American fighting forces thanks to the Islamic puppet in the White House.

Who would want to serve with Bammy as CiC?

I don’t like what is apparently the Navy’s new slogan: “A Global Force For Good.” The Navy, as with all of the other military services, ought to be a global force for the defense of the United States of America, not social workers to the world.

If they can’t use the military against the citizens of this country, they want to destroy it.

I know of two career Msgts and a bunch of other enlisted that left for the social issue reason alone.

That’s OK. The draft will fix the problem. Either that or the military shrinks into irrelevance. Either way, the Dems win.

I entered the military voluntarily under LBJ, which is in it self very questionable. I would never consider it under the messiah!

A friend of mine said just the other day that he feels pretty lucky that he served primarily under Reagan. He says they were put on alert a couple of times but there were no big deployments while Reagan was in the White House.
He did end up in Riyadh for a few months when Bush Sr took over but no nation building games.

Some may remember Gordon Gekko’s ‘greed is good’ speech from the 1987 movie Wall Street. He finishes by saying “...and greed - mark my words - will not only save Teldar paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA.”
If this particular species of greed doesn't show up soon (assuming it still exists), we're all in a heap of trouble.

Liberalism is going to drive a lot of people away from traditional (& vital) institutions.
A friend of mine, who is thankfully retiring from her public school job in Los Angeles, said she has to teach her second-grade class about same-sex marriage. I told her I predict that the only places of employment for anyone socially conservative will be religiously affiliated — as long as they are not state or federally funded.

You know, while he was gettin' shot at by the Khmer Rouge and the ARVN, the President of the United States was telling the American People that he wasn't there, that it wasn't happening.
If you had been there, the whole nasty business would be seared into your memory, my friend. Let me tell you.

Nope, never met Kerry but did get to see lovely Vietnam in 1972.

We do, but they probably feel as if they are under Reno and Benteen right now.

Who would want to serve with Bammy as CiC? The asinine political-correctness, gay and transgender BS isn't the worst. Obama's ROE in Afghanistan are killing hundreds of Americans. something like 70-75% of all Afghanistan fatalities in Afghanistan have occurred under Obama.
