I like how he’s perfectly parked in the end; right between the lines!

Another case of outright racism toward the over 60 crowd. I wonder if he’ll sue the car wash for not having a warning to keep your foot off the gas.

I’m only 59 now, but I’m being vocal to those all around me that I want my car keys taken from me if I’m showing any signs of not being in complete control while driving.

I don’t want to be THAT driver, and maybe even take lives!

“$100,000 in damage”

And I bet he was sure to carry enough insurance to cover this, let alone something happening to them or his passengers/family.

(”15 minutes or less quote/Save $$”) /s

What are the ‘State minimums’ in your State? Mine would leave a hit of $80k to a guy with minimums...

Yeah, it's a Blues Brothers parking job.

I’m 57, and agree. One of my school mates was run over while jogging, a few years ago. She died, and the driver was a 91 year old pillar of the community. Had no idea he had even hit her (it was around sunset). It was reported as hit and run, but when the cops got the vehicle description (maroon ‘88 Olds, in immaculate condition), they knew exactly who it was.

A real shame, a lady taken before her time, and a man whose entire life was an example of selfless service, to Our Nation, and his town, had this tragedy as a bookend of his life.

The good Lord was sure watching over that driver and the guy in the pile up in OR with the big rigs but then so too was the lady who had been parked in that space at the car wash moments before this driver plowed into it.

My Dad is 88 and to surrender that DL is going to kill him.

My siblings are all big eyed about the situation and we gotta do something before someone gets hurt.

It won't be him - I swear that Irish Codjer is invincible.

Typical minimum insurance normally only covers $10K to $20K in property damage.

That'll soon change.......After you reach 65 you'll be threatening if anyone attempts to take your car keys you'll shoot them then claim dementia..........LOL!

Car wash? I have a 1998 Toyota pickup that hadn’t been washed for at least 10 years. Got in a fender bender and the body shop washed it along with the fix. Looking good.

...Had no idea he had even hit her ...

There should be a law against joggers and bicyclists who run/ride at dark with no lights and no reflective clothing. I cannot tell you how close we've come to hitting some of them around here. They wear all black and dart across the road right in front of you in the rain/fog.

In fact, they ought to sell shoes for adults with the little flashing LEDs that they make for kids.

My dad (like his dad before him) will fight tooth and nail to keep his car keys and his independence.

He's 84 now, and pretty fit for a guy his age, but he's starting to show signs that the time to take them is approaching. I don't envy the siblings who'll be tasked with doing it.

What pisses me off, are the ones who insist upon walking/jogging in the street, when there's a perfectly good sidewalk right next to them. It's become the 'cool' way to exercise outdoors, don'tcha know.

Some months back, I almost hit a lady who was jogging while pushing a stroller in the street, because of poor visibility.
