Texas: Muslim teen blames his “BOMB HOAX” on “islamophobia,” Obama invites him to White House
pamelageller.com ^ | September 16, 2015 | Pamela Geller

A Muslim teen bought a strange ticking device to his high school that set off alarms and fear. The student was detained for having what resembled a bomb. Officers said the clock and wires inside his Vaultz pencil case looked like a hoax bomb to them. When questioned about the device was, the student, Ahmed Mohamed, wouldn’t answer. Now terror-tied Islamic groups like Hamas-CAIR, their media lapdogs and even President Obama are waging jihad against the school.

This whole thing smells like a set-up. With ISIS in America, and young moderate Muslims are fleeing to Syria to join the terror group, the Irving school’s response was rational and reasonable. I run news stories on a weekly basis of American Muslim teens arrested for trying to join ISIS. Just this week, a Philly Muslim teen was arrested for a plot to assassinate the Pope on his US visit.

> You are absolutely right. Now you and I (thanks to you) will (hopefully) spread this information all around the internet.

I hate that the kid is being used as a patsy in this because his ego is going to take a hit once he discovers his own dad used him to push an agenda. At the same time it might be a good lesson for little Ahmed to learn though I can see a little activist in him too at the same time. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

I don’t expect the MSM to report this info instead pushing the Muslim party line for Barry O and is satanic forces. Still people who are naieve and without discernment need to see the bigger picture here. We are being invaded on several different fronts by the Muslims- culturally, mentally, physically, etc...They are not here o assimilate. They are here to take over. People need to wake up. They do not really understand how it will “fundamentally” change our culture for the very worst.

If the libs mean that being interested in my own survival makes me ‘anti-muslim’ then so be it.

Islam is an evil doctrine from the pit of hell

> A kid whom likes to tinker with electronics and brought one of his projects to school to show off. The fact that none of the posters here ever did this as kids tells me a lot about the readership of this thread.

I was that kid. I was tearing apart all kinds of things to see how the worked at a young age. As soon as I discovered most items were assembled with screws and bolts I was opening them up. A butter knife would also occasionally help. I also had geology and chemistry sets with flasks and the whole nine yards. You'd think I had a lab in our basement. Ahhh those were carefree days when I didn't have much to worry about. I'd go mow a few yards or rake leaves to buy my lab kits from Sears (I think it was)....: )

I’ve met the Irving mayor (Beth Van Duyne). Muslims don’t like her because she know exactly what they are up to. In fact they keep tabs on her’. Know this for a fact.

What would have taken place if Ahmed had tried to enter any Court House in in this country?
When I go to any municipal building, I can’t even carry a 3” pocket knife or nail clipper or nail file!
Cry me a tear, Little Mo!

Agreed, and yet, Obama the Agitator feels the need to invite this little POS to the White House. Are you kidding me?

The fiasco would be laughable, if it wasn’t such a disgrace!
Idiot Stick’s head is so far up his a$$, no wonder he has such a sh—ty outlook on life.

...and you, as an engineer, look at that picture and see a bomb instead of a pile of crap? REALLY?

Excerpted from the NY Times article, "Handcuffed for Making Clock, Ahmed Mohamed, 14, Wins Time With Obama":
"The thing in question was the product of Ahmed’s love of invention. He made the clock out of a metal briefcase-style box, a digital display, wires and a circuit board. It was bigger and bulkier than a typical bedside clock, with cords, screws and electrical components."

"He said he took it to school on Monday to show an engineering teacher, who said it was nice but then told him he should not show the invention to other teachers. Later, Ahmed’s clock beeped during an English class, and after he revealed the device to the teacher, school officials notified the police, and Ahmed was interrogated by officers."

This is B.S., either by the NY Times or by the kid and and a high school "engineering teacher."

The photo shows a AC power plug and cord going to a transformer. The transformer is laying loose on its side in the case (a safety hazard). Normally the transformer would be used, e.g., with a bridge rectifier, to supply power. But with the 9V battery connecter seen, perhaps the transformer might just be used to supply 60 Hz (or 120 Hz rectified) signals for time pulses. In either case the clock shouldn't have "beeped" during "English class" unless he had it plugged in. Oh, and where is the speaker or beeper?

Why would the "engineering teacher" say the clock is "nice" and then warn him?

Something's fishy here, even if it's just misleading and incompetent fifth-column media reporting.

So, do you really think he could have boarded an airplane with that contraption? And, is it an invention, or A hoax?

It’s not an invention—more like a gadget.

As ineffective as our TSA are, yes, he probably could have boarded an airplane with the device without anyone ever examining it. However, he wasn’t trying to board an airplane—he took it to school to show his teacher and friends.

Like I said in an earlier post: the attitude of these public skrool staffers and the folks on this board is why the next Edison won’t be an American.

Hey dingus...Read my other conversations with jsanders2001, then try to answer some of my questions in my original post. Otherwise plant you head back up in your ass and go back to sleep.

That thing is not a clock.

You're right, of course. But the KKKenyan KKKommie KKKlown in the White Mosque thinks it is and praises the "inventiveness" of the mooselimb yute. And sadly, a number of posters on this thread are so busy attacking the Irving ISD and PD that they're giving the future jihadist a free pass. It's disheartening to see this happening on Free Republic.

As for me, I'm all for profiling and doing whatever it takes to make life a living h*ll for the muzzie slime who have infiltrated our Republic. A constant monitoring of mooselimbs (ankle bracelets perhaps?) is the least that can be done in my opinion. Given that every mosque in this country is an enemy fortress, each adherent to that pernicious satanic death cult should be treated as an enemy combatant. And if they don't like that policy...well...

Muzzies: Get the h*ell out of America!

Actually it is a clock. It's just the internals of a 1970’s Radio Shack large display clock. I looked at it and immediately knew it was nothing he built. He “invented” nothing. This whole thing was a setup.

From a picture in Breitbart article, the components look like they may be from a disassembled AcuRite Intelli-time Model 13003 Alarm clock, AC powered, but with button battery date/time backup when the clock is unplugged.

The small green PCB looks like the PCB layout (Figure 2) in ElecCircuit's Cheap Digital time clock with alarm circuit by LM8560, which uses a Unisonic Technologies LM8560 Alarm Clock IC.

It looks like the clock was just disassembled and put into a 5"x8" case. If that is it, then one wonders why Ahmen would plug in the power cord of the disassembled and hazardously packaged alarm clock components during English class when his Engineering teacher warn him not to show it to other teachers.
