The United Auto Workers union says its workers at General Motors will strike if it cant agree on a new contract with the company by 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
Both sides are still negotiating. The union made a similar threat in recent discussions with FIAT Chrysler before agreeing to a new four-year contract.

Maybe they can ask the Hostess bakers’ union for assistance.
Oh, wait...
South Korea applauds their selfless bravery and resoluteness.
I though the UAW was part owner of Government Motors? Or is that 21st Century Motors?
I wonder what time Sunday Government Motors will capitulate.
No problem, the American taxpayer has unlimited funds that can meet union demands to be recycled through Union Dues to DemoRat Campaign contributions.
ROTFLMAO!
A GM workers strike now would be perfect, as yet another example of why the government should have let the company go bankrupt years ago, instead of artificially and dare I say it - illegally, propping them up.
How can they strike against themselves?
Buy stock in Ford?

For the first time in over a quarter century, I have no GM products in my stable. Strike away.
I have a 79 K5 bucket of bolts Blazer I am holding on to for some reason, maybe nostalgia. I crank every so often.
I have only had one GM product and it was a POS GMC Jimmy. I learned my lesson. GMC, no thanks!
All for show.
They have too many vehicles sitting around. They don’t need to run the factories. This is all smokescreen.

My wife bought a new Trail Blazer in ‘05, it was plagued with wind noise, dealership tried to correct it by replacing rubber strips around the windows and doors to no avail. After her fifth trip there, the mechanic manager told her to “turn the volume up on the radio”. That’s when I said never again G.M.
Some time after that, I was advised by another Trail Blazer owner to slide the luggage racks all the way to the rear of the vehicle. It helped a lot but didn’t completely eliminate the wind noise. Since I did that I started noticing other Trail Blazers from that era (roughly 2003-2008) with luggage racks all the way back. G.M. would never admit it is a design flaw, that might be a basis for a recall. No more G.M. products ever.
I almost forgot. It was involved in a recall. At about 40,000 miles the fuel gauge just quit working. Got a notice from G.M. about the recall, to take it to the dealer and the dealer would pay 50% of the cost of fixing it. My half was about $250. Screw G.M. Never, never again will I buy one of their products.
